And nintendo DS? Because that list is from the beta, right? -
The goal of a beta release is not to add new features, but to fix bugs.
Anyway do you know an open source emulator able to emulate NDS on rpi ?
On PC ok, and will be added later. But on rpi... -
No, I know that retropie uses two cores MelonDs and Drastic that works very well in ARM processors, see Android that are similar processors, I have not tried the truth, only Drastic in android
But thanks by the info. -
MelonDS works well on arm ? you must have an i7 cpu to be able to use it with a good framerate.
About Drastic, I told youan open source emulator
, and it is a closed source... So it will never be added on recalbox.
For your information all "emulators" on android market are fork/rebranding of known and legit emulators.
Medusa still in alpha dev, desmume unplayable on rpi (will be added on pc and maybe odroid) an melonds strong pc necessary. -
And that's very unfortunate for Drastic (closed source), because it runs really well on mid range android device...

I understand, and said that Drastic works well in ARM, MelonDs I do not know, but I understand that they are forks, I had seen that somebody out there had implemented the drastic in an image, and I do not know why I expected you to implement it as experimental also, anyway thank you for the clarification, and forgive the inconvenience. A greeting.

Hi,
I am using a multi-boot image with recalbox and OSMC and upgraded 4.0 to 4.1 unstable back in April. What do I have to do to upgrade to 4.1? Do I have to wait for a new multiboot version with 4.1 stable? Any chance I just hit the update button and everything works fine?
-
@marcdk backup your system, switch updates.type to stable in the recalbox.conf and try to update.
-
Ok, I try. I changed the config to "stable" but available update tells me "not connected" Does that mean, I did something wrong or is the update still not up?
-
@marcdk same here
-
it takes time for the DNS to update worldwide

Hello !
I would like to install a multiboot with raspbian and Recalbox 4.1 using NOOBS. I tried to follow the following procedure :
https://github.com/recalbox/recalbox-os/wiki/Créer-un-dualboot-raspbian-recalbox
but I don't find the "os" folder of Recalbox to put in the noobs "os" folder of NOOBS (I downloaded and extracted all RPI3 archives and did not find this folder : boot.tar.xz, root.tar.xz and recalbox.img).Could someone tell me how to proceed ? Thanks !!!
