      Re: Lost sound after updating to 4.0.0

      Hi,

      I just updated to the latest beta and I lost all sound from my Recalbox.

      I did not change anything else other than upgrading.

      My sound is connected through the Jack Port.

      This is how my sound section in the config file looks like:

      ------------ C - Audio ------------
      Set the audio device (auto, hdmi, jack)
      audio.device=jack
      Set system volume (0..100)
      audio.volume=94
      Enable or disable system sounds in ES (0,1)
      audio.bgmusic=1

      And, before you ask, no I don't have any USB devices that could be seen as a sound card.

      Has anyone gone through the same?

      Thanks

        Hi.
        Same problem.
        After each boot/reboot, i must go to SOUND SETTINGS and switch OUTPUT DEVICE thru 'Jack' , 'Hdmi' and 'Auto' until i hear a sound. I must hit button after each switch.

        And after, it's ok until next boot/reboot.
        (I use sound from GPIO from RGB-Pi cable).

          No one has any idea?

          Can I roll back the update?

            @NightShadowPT no you can't. That's why we do recommend people unfamiliar with recalbox internals to try it on a a spare SD.

            For the sound, you just have to force it at each reboot, this Ill be solved at the next update
