[4.1-Unstable] Bug reports
-
@Substring Hi. Still having massive psx issues here. I'm running the latest update on a pi3. Psx is not playable. Was nice and smooth before, even with enhanced resolution.
I notice that frame skip is set to 3 under quick menu/options changing that and deactivating enhanced resolution doesn't help much though - besides that wouldn't be a solution
-
@treacle what do you mean "unplayable" ?
-
@treacle games psx ? Exemple ? Rewind disabled ?
-
@Substring with unplayable I mean it's so slow. Emulation works though. Screen size is not filling my tv either. And the scanlines look odd too.
Rewind is disabled, and was before too
-
@treacle I'd say there's a problem on your side for sure ... @rockaddicted b*mped the core, he tested it, and reported no sluggishness
-
@Substring ok... any idea what the problem could be? Didn't change any configs. Been on 4.1.0 unstable since 4.0.1
-
Yep I didn't notice significant slowdown during my tests. I only launched few games for testiing post b*mp and post patch about rumble.
@treacle do you have this issue with all your games ? Can you give us some examples ?
-
@rockaddicted I only tried two or three games. Crash bandicoot, castlevania. All running perfect before. Oh, and when I enter the (new xmb) retroarch menu, all icons are black squares
-
@treacle you can't have updated to the last unstable : squares and xmb (switched back t rgui) are solved. Unless you usensome custom configs ?
For the missing icins, just download retroarch assets
-
@Substring hmm, checked for updates about 2 hours ago, and it said there are none available
-
@Substring I wiped everything with Fresh Start plugging and it keeps crashing... Anyways I can live without Kodi. I have other sd card with kodi.
THX
-
@kelv A fresh start using an img from http://archive.recalbox.com/updates/v1.0/unstable/ ?
-
@Substring I'm falshing other sdcard now. Let's check Thx for the link The point is that I don't want to reconfigure and copy all roms from my main sd card.
-
@kelv boooooo shaaaaaame ! I'll never stress it enough : USE USB KEYS ! (or HDD)
anyway, that'd just be for a test with a pure vanilla 4.1 -
@Substring One question, do you think performance on a USB stick or solid state HD through usb is higher than a sdcard?
-
@kelv it's not and totally useless to put a SSD on a USB2 port
-
@Substring Something is not going great with Kodi in this release and my rpi3. Brand New Vanilla installation and when get into kodi, I try to add Phoenix. I suffered some issues that I worked around installing the dependencies manually. However when I leave Kodi:
- The settings seems to be reset. So no addons, repositories are kept. And it seems to be like a fresh kodi installation. (I tried three times)
- Most of the times I can't relaunch it.
THX
(I never thought I would be on my vacations bugging into Recalbox XD) -
@kelv KODI is evil Last time i tried anything with kodi, it just worked ...
-
@grgohr @peterpan123123 Guyz could you paste the resultat of
sdl2-jstest -l
please ? Regarding your PSP problems -
@Substring What the... Not easy to post and not getting a spam warning:-(
