Problem Direction pad N64 emulator
-
@Substring Thank you,
Maybe, but with other controller (usb snes cheap copy) where there is only d'pad it work ! -
@rossieric @Substring Almost any n64 game allowed you to play with the D-pad. Some would be functional on menus, but not always.
About your SNES Pad... That's because of the magic of configgen
If you don't map any analog stick, it will use the D-Pad instead of the analog. But that is an exception! -
@rossieric then indeed, sthg is wierd here
-
THANK YOU for your help. So for the moment I'll keep on with the analog.
If I really can't get used to it i will remap the controller (skipping the analog) when I play Mariokart
-
@rossieric Can you https://github.com/recalbox/recalbox-os/wiki/Recalbox-support-(EN) ? I guess there is a hole in configgen for your case, i'dl like to solve it if I can
-
@Substring Hi again, here is the file you ask me for http://onlinexpo.ch/recalbox-support-20170115003420.tar.gz
At least i guess it worked !?
Thank'S
-
@rossieric it did work
But as paradadf explained : you can't compare two pads that don't have the same format as they are mapped in a different way for N64. And it really looks like MK64 doesn't let you play with the real dpad on a N64 pad. So nothing is wrong here -
@Substring OK thank you !! I understand.
I think I sent you the file ehn the controller was mapped without the analog stick ( i did skip it in the configuration page ) are you interested in a new one ?
-
@rossieric looks like one of your pad has a weird name like "HID blablabla" right ?
-
@Substring I dont know ? i didn't rename them ! On the recalbox controller settings menu they are called something like usb.... (cable) and playstation... (bluethoot)
-
@rossieric anyway just tried mariokart : it won't let you play with the dpad. So that's set ingame
