Dualshock 3 GASIA Clone Info
-
Hi guys. I recently bought a dual shock 3 clone from aliexpress..well I sadly got the non supported GASIA clone. Here's some info I found to get it working, maybe it will help someone. A user on the raspberry pi forum called mattrix built a modified sixad-sixaxis from source, that works with the GASIA gamepad. I tested the whole thing, and it seems to work fine.(http://www.raspberrypi.org/forums/viewtopic.php?f=78&t=96516&p=724905) Here's the binary(Link from original post): https://mega.co.nz/#!PMJ01ZLT!JHF4gFiqAhczAX52kyD0WujYU8ctVwQJg6XYidtpjG0 You have to replace the sixad-sixaxis file in /usr/sbin/ Make the file executable with chmod +x, and reboot. Then it should work as usual. Things I noticed, and some of these are already mentioned in the original post: - The connection for the gamepad seems to take a little longer than with the sixad-sixaxis file thats bundled with recalbox. - The controller always shows player one, even if its player two. - No Vibration after connecting...but well I really don't care about that one - Slight Inputlag..I don't know if it is a driver problem, or has something to do with the controller itself. It was most noticable on the psx emu by playing tetris. The original controller works fine without a problem. FinalBurn alpha seemed to work fine for me playing cave shootemups etc. But well...I paid 12 Euros for that thing. So i think it works kinda ok for that price tag ^^.
