Got another dualshock clone...by accident :/ Anyways, this one is also not working with dstool: The clone itself ist the most perfect fake I've ever seen. Looks exactly like a original dualshock 3, even the packaging. The only thing that gave it away, was one typo on the packaging and the usb string, and well, that it didn't connect ^^" [ 166.448088] usb 3-3: Product: PLAYSTATION(R)3Conteroller [ 166.448092] usb 3-3: Manufacturer: SHENGHIC 2009/0708ZXW-V1Inc. Haven't found a working fix so far. Maybe you can add that one to the compatibility list as not working, retroboy.

RE: Playstation memory cards and save states for multi-disk games.
Hi nickdj, the pcsx-rearmed core also supports pbp (eboot) files. That is the file format of psx games that are converted for the psp. The nice thing is. 1. Compression :) , the images are a lot smaller 2. For Multidisk Games, you just have one file, It doesn't matter how many cd's you have, and then you also wouldn't have the memorycard problem i think . There various tools available on the net where you can create your own pbp files from your images Like Impaler's PSX eBoot Creator etc.
RE: HDMI vs CRT ,a request .
For me it is working without a problem. I have the following config atm. When hdmi is connected at boot it uses hdmi If rca is connected at boot it uses rca. Just be sure to delete the noobs autogenerated settings at the bottom of the config file. For overscanning i just use the overscan option in the recalbox emulationstation settings. ---- disable_overscan=0 sdtv_mode=2 hdmi_group=1 hdmi_mode=16 #Overclock# gpu_mem=256 arm_freq=1100 sdram_freq=500 core_freq=500 over_voltage=5 temp_limit=75 ### kernel=zImage disable_overscan=0 overscan_scale=1
Dualshock 3 GASIA Clone Info
Hi guys. I recently bought a dual shock 3 clone from aliexpress..well I sadly got the non supported GASIA clone. Here's some info I found to get it working, maybe it will help someone. A user on the raspberry pi forum called mattrix built a modified sixad-sixaxis from source, that works with the GASIA gamepad. I tested the whole thing, and it seems to work fine.(http://www.raspberrypi.org/forums/viewtopic.php?f=78&t=96516&p=724905) Here's the binary(Link from original post): https://mega.co.nz/#!PMJ01ZLT!JHF4gFiqAhczAX52kyD0WujYU8ctVwQJg6XYidtpjG0 You have to replace the sixad-sixaxis file in /usr/sbin/ Make the file executable with chmod +x, and reboot. Then it should work as usual. Things I noticed, and some of these are already mentioned in the original post: - The connection for the gamepad seems to take a little longer than with the sixad-sixaxis file thats bundled with recalbox. - The controller always shows player one, even if its player two. - No Vibration after connecting...but well I really don't care about that one :) - Slight Inputlag..I don't know if it is a driver problem, or has something to do with the controller itself. It was most noticable on the psx emu by playing tetris. The original controller works fine without a problem. FinalBurn alpha seemed to work fine for me playing cave shootemups etc. But well...I paid 12 Euros for that thing. So i think it works kinda ok for that price tag ^^.
Libretro-fba aspect ratio problem in cave games
First, many thanks for your work, your doing a really nice job with recalbox :) I want to ask if its somehow possible to change the aspect ratio for certain games in libretro-fba. For example the cave shoot-em-ups are stretched to 4:3 aspect ratio, but they should have a much smaller width. Is that somehow possible? Thank you.
