This morning I tested out the emulator with Diddiy Kong Racing and it booted up and ran great. I set the Pi to scrape some files while I was at work and when I came home I messed with it a little and now none of the n64 roms will play. I'm using a wireless xbox 360 controller that I have the driver downloaded. Also I have changed the n64 video mode with no luck so it is back to dmt 4. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

What is the problem ? I don't recommend going above dmt 4 for performance matters

You downloaded a driver for your controller?

The problem is I can't figure out now why any of the roms will not play. Diddy Kong Racing worked when it was set to default emulator and plugin. Now it doesn't work when I try it as default or selecting the emulator and either of the three plugins. Basically I don't know what changed to make that system not work anymore. Also I guess download wasn't the right word, I have activated the xboxdrv driver support in the config file is what I should have said.

@Thedirtybaby why did you change global.videomode to default? What kind of monitor are you using?

I am using an hdtv I had changed that when I was trying the different N64 video modes hoping that would fix the problem and I forgot to change it back. I just changed it back to CEA 4 HDMI and rebooted. The only thing that I can think of that I changed after the n64 emulator was working was I added two psx roms and added a few mame roms and adjusted the settings on them in the config file but put them back to how they were. Every other emulator is working (nes, snes, master system and playstation.)
