Controller not working correctly

I just got recalbox installed on my raspberry pi 3 but I have two third party PS3 controllers that will not configure. I have gone into the recalbox.conf file and edited the PS3 driver to SHANWAN and still is showing no success. Here is the dmesg output so you can see why I did that.

When I plug them in on boot they vibrate constantly but allow me to configure them but if they are unplugged and plugged back in they do not stay configured. Any help on this matter would be very appreciated.

@nhchamplin are you trying to use the internal bluetooth? Currently, it isn't working so you'll need a bluetooth dongle for that.

Do you try to play with the ps3 controllers in USB ?
If so try to deactivate the ps3 driver.

I am not trying to use the internal bluetooth knowing that that is still a work in progress. I am trying to just plug them in with a USB. How do I deactivate the ps3 driver?

On recalbox.conf look for the PS3 part and change it to

##Enable PS3 controllers support
controllers.ps3.enabled=0

But I thought ps3 controllers wouldn't work over USB at all.

@paradadf could that be the trick to make them work over USB ? if it disables sixpair, then it's great

@subs maybe, but I have no ps3 controllers so I can't test XD
Anyway, it would be very interesting for people that have them considering the difficulties that those controllers currently have!

@paradadf if clones were REAL clones programmatically speaking, we wouldn't have such troubles to make them work

I also will have to wait till tonight to test this. Is there any way to track the process on the built in bluetooth? Would love this to work.

@digitaLumberjack I did play while testing the controller and it worked fine besides that it was vibrating the whole time I played.

@digitaLumberjack There is no change in result after deactivating the ps3 driver.... looks like I am stuck getting a bluetooth dongle if I want to use ps3 controllers.
