Freezing on restart/shutdown

Hi all,

I recently enabled volume control via a rotary encoder as decribed here;

It works great, however now, whenever i shutdown or restart it freezes.

Can anyone help? Id be very grateful

@buggasauras Sorry, I don't have enough technical knowledge to help you a lot, and I don't even have a way to reproduce this problem, but, you probably made some kind of wrong connection, or there is something wrong in the script configuration. Do you have more things connected at GPIO and are they in conflict maybe?

Thanks for you input. I have a on/off switch also connected via GPIO. When i disable this the freezing stops

@buggasauras And, are you using the same PIN for both at some point?
Maybe a GROUND? If so, can you use another GROUND and test it?
