@tontonduson oui il y a des bugs gênants, mais bon effectivement une petite SD pour garder ton install précédente en parallèle suffit à régler le problème 
Et bien déjà je n'ai pas d'autre micro sd,et en ce moment je suis un peu à sec, alors pas possible d'en acheter une. Ensuite j'ai changer 2 fois mon pi2 car à force de rentrer et sortir la micro sd et bien le lecteur de carte ne gardais plus l'as carte inséré alors je préfère éviter de rentrer et sortir ma carte maintenant. Sinon, hormis kodi (qui n'a jamais rien lu pour moi), quel sont les autres bug gênant? Peu t'on injecter les fichier .conf et .txt pour avoir direct mes config?
@tontonduson le recalbox.conf peut etre copié oui, mais tu vas perdre les nouveautés. Il te suffit de copier la ligne global.videomode dans le nouveau recalbox.conf. Pour /boot/config.txt, quelques manipulations à effectuer car, pour rendre recalbox moins victime des reboots sauvages, on a du passer une bonne partie du sysème en lecture seule. Mais avec une simple commande, on dévérouille et on fait les modifs utiles. Pour la N64, même sujet que global.videomode Les FC30 marchent autant que je sache. A condition d'etre au bon firmware, les démarrer correctement. C'est documenté sur le wiki Kodi est le bug le plus récurrent, bien qu'il ne soit pas chez tout le monde. Moonlight aussi a pris un coup. Les 2 seront résolus à la prochaine beta normalement. Le nouveau mode de recalboxv4.0.0 devrait etre compatible pour un bon moment sur les updates, pas comme le passage de la 3.3.0beta17 à la 4.0.0beta1 Si tu n'as pas de SD de rechange et que tu transpires déjà à l'idée de migrer, je comprends ta réticence + ta mauvaise expérience avec le lecteur SD ... Enfin pour ce dernier point, crois-moi il en a vu passer des SD mon Pi lors du dev de la 4.0.0, il se porte toujours comme un charme

Moonlight par contre je ne sais pas ce que c'est?ca touche quoi concrètement? Apparement pour les scraps c'est plus simple que avant pour les injecter (j'ai mon backup deja) donc il ne devrait pas y avoir de soucie de ce côté là. Par contre c'est les réglages pour afficher la sortie en rca sur mon cathodique qui me font le plus peur...dommage que des réglages ne sois pas implémenter d'origine dans recalbox pour basculer rapidement entre hdmi et rca ca ferait gagner un temps précieux. J'avais aussi eu un soucie pour rentrer mon wifi Avec mon clavier car chiffre non reconnu (j'avais du modifier une ligne pour qu'il sois reconnu comme clavier us pour que ça marche),cela a t'il été réglé sur la v4? Pour les fc30 j'ai le dernier fw,mais en 3.3.0b17 ca foutais un bordel monstre pour mapper les touches,au point que ca m'avais même fait b****r ma manette ps3,ainsi que mon clavier ou seulement quelque touche marchais,donc je ne pouvais plus rien paramètrer, donc obliger de restaurer.Donc j'avais complètement lâcher l'affaire avec ces manettes tellement ca m'avais tout niqué.Y'a du mieux sur la v4 ou c'est la meme?
Hi everyone! Thanks for the great update. So far, everything is working as expected, but the German translation is just plain horrible! Whoever did it is either not a native speaker, or just doesn't care about the translation at all. I pointed that out already several times in this thread and asked for advice on how to participate in the project: http://blog.recalbox.com/forums/topic/dark-arcade-theme/ Maybe someone can point me into the right direction, or am I the only one around here who's bugged by a translation which doesn't reflect the high quality standard of recalbox itself? Hi @rockaddicted. I missed that "send us your .po file"... I just forked the translation, that I've already made. I will redo the German Translation today and send it in via IRC. I'm new to GitHub, so I didn't get how to use it properly at first.

@rockaddicted Bien vu, Kodi fonctionne à nouveau si je débranche mon Xin-Mo (reconnue comme "tht arcade console 2p usb player" par Recalbox).Il y a sans doute un rapport avec le fait que j'ai un message "tht arcade console 2p usb player (1xxx/5xxx) not configured" quand je démarre une rom (sans doute un message de retroarch). Je n'avais pas de mal à naviguer dans Kodi avec mon Xin-Mo en version 3.3.0 donc il y a peut être une petite régression sur la 4.0 ou alors une nouvelle configuration à faire et que je n'ai pas trouvé? @tous les autres: faite le test avec un simple clavier/souri pour confirmer que Kodi fonctionne une fois le périphérique exotique débranché.
Hi all. I did a clean install of 4.0 and updated it to the current unstable path version. I also am using a bus-powered USB HDD. I have an interesting issue. I am using gamelist.xml files and the related boxart created outside of recalbox. I copied the gamelist.xml to the rom directory. The images are in downloaded_images within the rom directory. I accidentally left the old image path in the xml file (~./emulationstation/downloaded_images) so I corrected the contents of my xml file on my PC and overwrote the file in the rom directory of my samba share from my PC. What was odd was that when I rebooted recalbox the changes were undone! Not only was the gamelist.xml file back to having the wrong path, but the file's modification date and time were NEWER than my most recent changes. It was not that the overwrite failed or never got written to disk but somehow recalbox had a cached copy of the original "incorrect" version and wrote that over the correct one on startup. I repeated the process with WinSCP, noted the modification date & time, rebooted and had the same results!! As a side note I know it's not related to me bringing in foreign xmls and/or images since I repeated my efforts with a different console romset and it worked fine since my initial attempt had correct paths in the xml file. Does anyone know where/how recalbox keeps a copy of the original gamelist.xml that it keeps overwriting with so I can clean it out? PS - loving the new feature set in 4.0!!! Great work!! Eric
Hi during the boot, ES load all informations in your gamelist.xml file to the ram. During the shutdown, ES writte all the onfrmations loaded in the ram to your gamelist.xml. So you must kill ES before edit your gamelist.xml files. You can du that by pressing F4 with a keyboard plugged on your recalbox, or using the command killall emulationstation or /etc/init.d/S31emulationstation in root access.
Bonjour, j'ai une NES30 pro connectée en BT. Lorsque je clique sur "forget paired devices", ma manette continue de répondre et n'est jamais "unpaired". Est-ce un bug ? à quoi doit servir cette fonctionnalité initialement ? Sinon niveau émulation je n'ai pas encore rencontré de bug.

I don't know if this was asked already... I've got 4.0 installed and I used the gameslist and images from 3.3 and only some systems show images. What would cause this and how do I did it without having to re scrape all the games?
@esmith13 it's in /recalbox/share_init/system/.emulationstation. You need to mount -o remount,rw / before @ivwshane the thuing you need to check in your gamelists is the path to images. Now recalbox can handle external storage, we prefer having scraping data with the roms, and images in the downloaded_images sub folder. Once your gamelist.xml is in your roms folder, edit images path to "./downloaded_images/XXXXX.jpg"
bonjour , j ai installé la version 3.3.0 juste avant la sortie de la version 4...zut.. malheureusement , la version 3.3.0 ne veut pas faire la mise à jour en 4.0.0 car cela m indique qu il n y a pas de mise à jour disponible. si quelqu un peut m apporter une solution cordialement benoit
Cest pas possible de faire la maj vers la 4.0.0 tu dois refaire une installation entierement.

Une question qui va sembler bête mais du coup maintenant que je suis en 4.0 beta, le passage vers la stable ne nécessitera pas de réinstallation complète ? juste update depuis le menu ?
@renaiku : par défaut la beta passera sur la stable, oui C'est prévu comme ca
