How to delete scrapes?

Is there a way to completely and permanently delete scrape information? I've deleted the gamelists and images folders, but the information is still showing on emulation station,

did you delete everything with ES shut down ? ES rewrites gamelists when it shuts down. That's why you need to stop ES, do your scraping business, then start again ES

How do I stop ES to do that?

press F4 if you have a keyboard plugged. Or through SSH : type /etc/init.d/S31emulationstation stop
