Can't use scraper with ethernet connection
-
When I turn off Wi-Fi and use the scraper it always fails. It goes through all the games really fast as if every request fails instantly.
It does kind of work when I turn on the Wi-Fi and disable ethernet but the Wi-Fi is unstable and seems to cause the whole system it to hang quite often requiring a hard reset. (Despite being right beside the router)
I suspect that the ethernet config is somehow wrong for the scraper because SSH and web manager work fine via ethernet only. Have had a look at the ifconfig info which seems fine. Not sure where to look next to try to figure out why this is happening?
System is running on a gigabyte brix micro pc.

Which version do you have installed? The latest one has some issues with the scraping - it simply doesn't work. Wait for an update...

I'm using the latest stable version 18.07.13. The scraper does work over Wi-Fi so its not totally broken. My main issue is when I turn on wifi I get random hanging and crashes after a while so after a short while it hangs and scraping is lost.
I get no crashes when plugged into ethernet with wi-fi off and network screen shows connected and an IP address but it just wont scrape. It seems whatever scraper settings are set up for wifi just need to be transferred to eth0 -
@kyuzumaki There's been a problem with the scrapers for some time. If I am not mistaken, there have been changes in the scraper site, not a problem of Recalbox itself, as far as I know. There are several other topics in the forum talking about this, you can try to see if any help:
