Hello! With the new beta Mame2003 Plus Core we should have the control names in retroarch for an easy configuration or personalization, as described in libretro site. In the documetnation says that is based on a third-party file named "controls.dat". For example Street Fighter, A button: Forward Kick, B button: Strong Punch.

My question is, where in de Recalbox system is controls.dat allocated?

I've downloaded a Mame2003 Plus Romset, but when accesing RetroArch with Hotkey+B, no names in control appears.

Here is a screen capture from libretro site:

@jorgemagana it's a pretty recent modification of mame 2003 plus, it's not included yet in recalbox anyway so it won't work

@jorgemagana @voljega @acris You have this names controls on games where it has been implemented and every once in a while the community is adding more and more of these (same with fbalpha). No idea from when the mame2003plus core is, but you’ll only see this if it has been implemented on the specific game and should be where you can change the control mapping on a per game config.
At least that is what I understand.
I also know that there are different (standard) mappings between mame and fbalpha, so don’t expect everything to work the same way across cores.
