@cedrickm check if you have an "/" after the line.
And so delete it. -
Hi,
I'am on ""RB EMULATIONSTATION V 507-B*MP-BUI (FAFBA916) 28566561 X86_64 2018/08/23 22:32:26" and after setting updates.type=https://review-507-b*mp-b-0jn0c0-archive-review-prod.recalbox.com in recalbox.conf i'm unable to update, in recalbox.log i've this message :[ 186.04] ------------ Will process to a https://review-507-b*mp-b-0jn0c0-archive-review-prod.recalbox.com upgrade ------------
[ 186.15] Unable to get headers for http://archive.recalbox.com/updates/v1.0/https://review-507-b*mp-b-0jn0c0-archive-review-prod.recalbox.com/x86_64/boot.tar.xzAnd I've double check : in recalbox.conf i've this line updates.type=https://review-507-b*mp-b-0jn0c0-archive-review-prod.recalbox.com

No sound on HDMI output until I unmute SPDIF on alsamixer (

@janbaunooo maybe you still have enabled the standard update line? check if you still have this line:
updates.type=stable
and if so, then put a # as the first char of the line, to comment it out:
#updates.type=stableBy the way, I think the version you have is already the last one, so you won't get any update at this moment anyway.
-
@tonificante I've checked and there are no other updates.type line.
I have a doubt about my test procedure: because it was more convenient, no need to restart with each change, I assumed that executing the /recalbox/scripts/recalbox-upgrade.sh script was doing the same thing as the automatic update check ... but by reading the script content, I don't see how it could work by specifying a URL instead of the update type.@Substring Thanks for your works, outputs by HDMI work well now on my hardware

me lanzo a una nuieva version del sistema y al reiniciar no arrancó ¿soy al unico que le pasa esto?

@substring said in Testers wanted: major system upgrade (Pi3b+, KODI 17 and much more ...):Time to thril
You need to edit your recalbox.conf and set
updates.type
to:- First update with:
https://review-master-slwsz0-archive-review-prod.recalbox.com
- Then update with
https://review-507-b*mp-b-0jn0c0-archive-review-prod.recalbox.com
A pi3 SD card works on a Pi3b+. Though, I know some people don't have a pi3 anymore, so here is a direct link to the img file. There is no need to make any upgrade on this img, but still, set the updates type to the 2nd link to get updates during the beta. If you update while on the stable branch, you'll simply brick your Recalbox. Now you're warned. I'm pretty sure some smart @$$ will spread this image forgetting its beta state, those people are making a big mistake.
- First update with:

Does anybody know about the RetroFlags' NesPi safe shutdown script? https://github.com/RetroFlag/retroflag-picase Is it compatible with the current upgrade or it is need to be updated?

after new freshly built image on a Pi3b+- wifi is now really unstable, no problem in ethernet (the unstable wifi connection already mentioned, I know ) I have both wifi AC and N
- my 8bitdo pad(sf30 ans sn30) in bluetooth works in game but in emulstation stop randomly, I need to stop it and restart
- I can't access in SSH (rpi3B+ wifi or ethernet)... but I can acces via web broswer

Hi,
so far recalbox runs really good on my pi3b+.
But i found a small bug related to recalbox.conf.
When I uncomment "system.power.switch=PIN356ONOFFRESET" everything works.
It looks like this:
;system.power.switch=PIN56PUSH # https://github.com/recalbox/recalbox-os/wiki/Add-a-start-stop-button-to-your-recalbox-(EN)
system.power.switch=PIN356ONOFFRESET # https://github.com/recalbox/recalbox-os/wiki/Add-a-start-stop-button-to-your-recalbox-(EN)
;system.power.switch=PIN356PUSHRESET # https://github.com/recalbox/recalbox-os/wiki/Add-a-start-stop-button-to-your-recalbox-(EN)
But when I restart the pi and open the conf again all lines are replaced by the uncomment line like:
system.power.switch=PIN356ONOFFRESET # https://github.com/recalbox/recalbox-os/wiki/Add-a-start-stop-button-to-your-recalbox-(EN)
system.power.switch=PIN356ONOFFRESET # https://github.com/recalbox/recalbox-os/wiki/Add-a-start-stop-button-to-your-recalbox-(EN)
system.power.switch=PIN356ONOFFRESET # https://github.com/recalbox/recalbox-os/wiki/Add-a-start-stop-button-to-your-recalbox-(EN) -
@schlegel11 that‘s an old known bug... it doesn‘t affect the functionality of the script though.
-
@paradadf
Thats true it doesn't affect it -
@cyberbad Hi, i've the same problem ... Have you finded an issue ?
