How to update my Recalbox?

Hi,

I am using the version 17.12.2 in my Raspberry Pi3 and I want to upgrade it to the latest version (18.07.13) keeping my files. How can I do that? The update's message didn't appear yet.

@nubirro maybe the notification is turned off...
Connect your Pi to the internet, press Start, navigate to System Settings and choose to update. I don´t have the exact menu names in mind, but it should be something like that.

@nubirro I always recommend doing a fresh installation. If you want to make a backup of your files you have to save the following folders:

• /share/bios (bios and extra files)
• /share/roms (games and favorites)
• /share/system/.kodi (Kodi plugins and addons)

@substring Sorry, I usually copy those folders and then I just have to configure the controls and emulators
What are the recommended folders to save?
(I have not seen anything about it on the wiki)

@quemandoacromo everything on the share folder ! You had forgotten the save folder or even the whole system folder
