Recalbox hangs on game exit

I have just setup Recalbox on a Raspberry Pi 1, successfully configured my wireless X360 controllers and started playing a few games. However whenever I try to exit a game (hotkey +Start) the system just hangs and I have to pull the power cable to reboot the RPi. I am running the latest stable version 18.04.20 and flashed onto a brand new 32GB MicroSD card.

Your help would be appreciated.

@chris3lx what does "hang" mean ? What's displayed ? Can you still reach the webmanager ? Or ssh to your pi ?

Screen goes blank and doesn’t return to Recalbox main menu. Everything is completely unresponsive.
I haven’t tried logging into Manager or ssh but I can try later

@chris3lx do you have the latest version ? because there was a bug which was exactly like that corrected in the last one ...

@chris3lx please try, this would tell if the system is frozen of if es just crashed

I am running the latest version. When I exit a game the screen goes blank, however I can still access the ROM Manager via web browser. I have saved the log files if they are of use?
