Myst Masterpiece on Scummvm not working

  • Hello everyone,

    I have an issue making Myst Masterpiece edition work on latest recalbox 171202. I have put the following files :
    QTW folder
    in a myst.scummvm folder along with a file named myst.scummvm in the same folder.

    When lauching the game, I have a blackscreen and it comes back to emulationstation. This game is working on my PC in scummvm with the exact same files. My other scummvm games are working.

    Has anybody else tried out Myst Masterpiece on recalbox ? Any idea how to fix this issue ?

    I haven't test that game yet.

    Just after launching the game, you can check in file /recalbox/share/system/logs/es_launch_stderr.log and es_launch_stdout.log for some errror.

    Hello, thanks for your reply ! In fact, what is meant in previous link is that only the windows version of the game is working (a Mac version was also released for this game but does not work on scummvm).

    I see errors but I don't know what they mean...

    In my opinion, the crash is linked to the "Assertion failed" error.
    Not sure it will be easy to solve it at our level.

    This version is still unstable. Perhaps that this problem will be corrected in the future.

    Stable 2.0.0 version has been released, we should bump on this version.
