Before receiving my gpi case I brought a Ebl 2800mh battery and I had basic AA. The result, can't booting recalbox with battery.

After a big disapointed, I brought some Duracell optimum and that work !

Gpi+zero 2 need the best battery to start.

Hi, I have a similar issue with GPi case 1, Raspberry zero 2, and recalbox 8.0. I tried with the image of another system, with the same batteries and SD it correctly boots. However when using recalbox 8.0, I can not start with batteries only. I have to boot with a power cable, and when it is fully loaded I can remove it and continue playing with batteries only.

When booting from batteries it continues to stop and reboot at the "Have fun" screen. I tried both with the secure shutdown switch on and off.
