Launching Kodi Breaks my Network connection XU4

I just installed the latest recalbox build, and my wifi dongle is setup in recalbox no problem, but when I launch kodi, I no longer have network access, it doesnt even show the mac in the system info. If i exit out back to recalbox, it no longer has a connection either, untill I reboot.
upon reboot same deal, recalbox connects right up, until i launch kodi

any ideas?
