8BitDo SNES30 Bluetooth Problem

Afternoon all.

I've tried to pair my new SNES30 (with up to date firmware) to Recalbox. It finds the pad and displays it's address (rather than it's name) but then when selected, Recalbox either crashes totally or carries on as normal but the controller doesn't work unless it's connected with it's USB cable.

Could anyone help please? I'm a bit new to this!

Morning all

Since applying the update I still can't pair my controller. It just says "controller not found" when I try and do it from the selection menu.

Does anyone know how to actually do it or is it still not possible?

Loving the new scraper options - so good!

@jamiesection23 hello, what do you have? pi2 /pi 3? which version of recalbox? What is the firmware of your controller?

Actually, you just have to hold the power button only for about 3 sec, find your device in the recalbox, then configure it.
Try it several times if it doesn't work directly, sometimes this controller can be hard to find.

I'm using the latest update to Recalbox, my pi is a pi2 and the firmware is the most recent on the controller.

I wish I could read French, that would be a great skill. Sadly I can't though.

I'll try holding down the power button and see if that helps. Thank you!

@jamiesection23 Carefully read the 8bitdo documentation on how to reset your pad (because if the pad has been previously paired with any device, including your Pi, it will fail), and the good way to start it. I have a 8bitdo Zero + NES30 Arcade, both work (I.E. pair, connect and reconnect) great as long as you follow those rules.
