        @voljega I should add I tried to overclock it to high. Just to see if it would improve kodi performance. Now it won’t let me change it back to normal. It reboots after I change it back but when I check it is always on high again

          @voljega I can’t get into kodi to remove the build. A build is essentially just a preconfigured set of addons and skins for kodi.

            @voljega so after some research I am fairly sure it’s because the overclocking won’t reset back to normal. I’ve tried holding down shift in restart to reset everything but it doesn’t work. Anybody have any ideas?

                @voljega so here’s he tricky part. I’m running it off a usb. If I take the usb out and look at it. There is no config file. On the as card there is but I’m not sure what I’m looking for.

                Further if I choose to run off of internal storage instead of my usb it all works it just doesn’t have any rims and kodi isn’t set up. It’s essential stock. So I’m not sure editing the config file on the as card would help.

                If I edit it via ssh will it edit the active storage ?

                  @imjustkit the config.txt is not on the storage (share) partition but on another one, so yes it will concern everything, active storage and passive too I think

                    @voljega I would also like to say I would prefer to edit manually by removing the usb or as card and working on my computer. I’m not familiar with ssh at all.

                      @voljega ok perfect. What should I add or change to it. I didn’t see anything that said overclocking

                        @imjustkit you must find the standard parameters in config.txt for non-overclocked pi3 which are modified when you overclock.

                        such as :
                        arm_freq=1400
                        over_voltage=5
                        temp_limit=80
                        gpu_mem=128

                        sadly I do not have the complete list, and I do not know the default values, my pi3 beeing overclocked too.

                        You can also try to see in recalbox.conf if there is something related to overcloc,ing and reset it to none through ssh or by connecting your key to your computer.

                        or maybe @substring knows hox to revert to default params

                          Juste remove all overclock settings, it's hardly worth on pi3
