Solved Recalbox using AV/Composite Cable PROBLEMS (Main menu works, but games are not working)
-
Hi guys,
I have installed Recalbox on my raspberry pi 3, updated it to the 4.0.2. I have tested it in my hdmi tv and everything works like a charm, no problems with any game. But I want to play it in my old tv and I have followed the instructions to set up the recalbox to use it with a AV cable from this link:
https://github.com/recalbox/recalbox-os/wiki/Connect-your-recalbox-to-a-CRT-with-composite-(EN)
I have modified all configurations files and i've tested the PIN Connectors of the AV cable and they are correct as the picture in the link.
When I switch on the raspberry pi, I can see image in my old TV, and it goes to the Recalbox Main menu, I can go through all menus and also the sound/background music is working. But when I start any of the games, the image disappears and the TV can't get any signal from the raspberry pi.
Could you please give me some adviced of how to fix it?
Thanks in advance

@danimourinho have you changed the global.videomode to default in the recalbox.conf?
-
@paradadf yes I did! basically I've done all described in the link
-
@danimourinho sorry to bother with that, but...
Have you double checked that your videomode really is set to default? It happens quite often that you try to save changes and that doesn't really happen.
Besides that, I have no idea why that might be happening. -
@paradadf THAT WAS CORRECT! for some reason it didn't save it properly! NOW IS WORKING! thanks
