how to quit games on the 8bitdo Nes30 controller?

How do I quit games on the 8bitdo Nes30 controller and return to the menu?
combinations like select+start+L+R do not work.

@Thomas-Kings Just use Hotkey+Start
The hotkey is the button that you have chosen when you configured your pad in ES. If you haven't done this yet, I suggest to use SELECT or L3
