Simplemente se trata de escribir dentro del archivo .scummvm el nombre largo del juego, segun la pagina oficial. -
No me encuentra una rom de n64, es posible añadir y asociarlas yo mismo para no estar molestando? o es muy complejo y/o se necesitan derechos?

Sigo las intrucciones, pero en Recalbox me aparece la carpeta, y tengo que entrar para ver la caratula. Es decir, es como si la rom, estuviera dentro de la carpeta.

@toniosj lo que pasa es que asi funciona ScummVM. Tenes que tener el juego dentro de la carpeta. Esposoble tambien poner imagenes a carpetas por si acaso. En lugar de que diga game viene folder.

@paradadf El problema es que de esta forma, las caratulas no se muestran al seleccionar SCUMMVM en Recalbox, sino aparecen el nombre de las carpetas, y luego dentro aparece la caratula. No es muy vistoso.

@toniosj eso depende de vos si asocias el folder a una imagen, tal como lo haces con los game, tambien tiene imagen.
Lo que podes hacer si no entendes bien lo que digo es, con el scraper integrado en recalbox, scrapear cualquier carpeta y guardar la informacion. Revisa despues el gamelist.xml y veras el formato que necesitas. -

¿Mejor en PNG o JPG?

JPG es mas liviano, pero no admite transparencia... imagenes MIX o, por ejemplo, la caja 3D sola se verian con bordes negros. Si usas imagenes rectangulares entonces JPG es lo mejor (relacionado a peso de archivos).

Hola, lo primero muchas gracias a todos por vuestros aportes.
No sé donde fallo pero no hay manera.
Tengo Recalbox actualizado. He probado con UXml V2, version normal, version 64...en las rutas he probado desde el pc y directamente desde las carpetas de recalbox en red. El directorio de destino siempre en \RECALBOX\share\roms\mame\download_images... Por supuesto "detengo" emulation station, desde comandos ssh y también con putty...
El caso es que consigo scrapear imágenes y el gamelist.xml, pero, luego al iniciar recalbox nunca me aparecen las imagenes.
He probado también desde Red>Recalbox>etc, es decir, las carpetas desde windows, copiando y pegando las imágenes y el gamelist en varios sitios (roms, mame, download_images) y no hay manera.
En resumen, consigo escrapear con Uxml pero no consigo que me aparezcan las imágenes en la consola de recalbox. He probado con mame, spectrum y atari.
He probado principalmente con esta configuración:

Por supuesto tanto en "D:emuladores\mame prueba" como en recalbox tengo las mismas roms. Sólo unas cuantas para hacer pruebas y que no me tarde demasiado.
He buceado todo lo que he podido pero no encuentro donde fallo. Me da mucha rabia que tengo todas las imágenes listas y el gamelist...pero no hay manera de que aparezcan donde deben.

@elsergio extrae el gamelist generado con UXS directamente en recalbox con WinSCP y utiliza un pastebin para mostrar aqui su contenido. OJO: te estoy pidiendo el que tengas en Recalbox para revisar que realmente este lleno y tenga las rutas correctas, no el que generas en tu PC.

-El gamelist observo que me lo genera en el PC (carpeta origen), en Recalbox sólo las imágenes.
-Ya tengo el gamelist en el editor WinSCP:con lo del pastebin, no sé si te refieres a ésto:
