The question depends on your video output! Hdmi or composite ?

Change the global.videomode in recalbox.conf to a value tjat suports 50Hz

Would be nice to have an option in recalbox OS, to start PAL games in 50hz, if wanted by the user.

@DerKettenhund i wouldn't expect such behaviour : this is screen dependant, and only CEA supports 50Hz, not DMT.

is it possible to do in 60Hz? the games go smoother?

forcing PAL games to run in 60Hz tends to break some.
