We are really proud to present you the new forum, propulsed by NodeBB.

You will discover with us new features that NodeBB brings to the community.

Your profile

To begin, you can click on your avatar in top left and start editing your profile

You will be able to change your avatar, background image and set your profile informations.

In the Change Extra section you can fill your configuration and optional informations that will allow other member to know you and help you quicker.

Settings

In the Settings page, you have the possibility to change the forum language, choose an other skin, and select the schedule for the digest that will be sent to you by email. This feature is really usefull if you want to know what happens on the forum.

Reputation system

When people help you answering your question, or ask interesting questions, you can vote for the post by clicking on the ^ button at the bottom of the message :

You can also downvote for a post that doesn't seems useful.

We like and promote the reputation system, as is allows to identify and reward (with awards for exemple) people really active on recalbox forum.

Chatrooms

The forum embed a chat that provide instant messaging with online members of the forum.

If you want to chat with someone, click on its avatar to show his profile, and click on the little icon :

You can even invite other members :

The list of your chatrooms is close to your account menu on the top of the page :

There is an annoying bug in the "other languages" area.

If you are on the Home site of your forum, it shows the latest threads of each subforum. But if you post something in the German area it shows me that the latest post is six days ago.

Got it It takes the last post in the italian section as it is the only section without subforums. That could be a rule of nodebb.
The issue will be fixed when we will have an italian moderator taht can unlock the italian subforums

When navegation through the forum on a mobile device and zooming into a post, the right menu pops up.

I have a question about bbcodes. Are there some implanted and where to find a description ? I see always this black boxes for code and quotes, no idea how to use in editor.

It s not bbcode as phpbb forum.
It s markdown syntax.
