How can I control Emulation station menus with analogue sticks?

Hi everyone! I use an Xbox 360 controller with recalbox OS, everything works pretty fine, but I'd like to control the main menu (ES) with analogue sticks instead of the d-pad (which is pretty frustrating, I always misclick something). Is there any way to do so? Thanks for the help

No you can't. Imagine the dpad is the very minimum a gamepad should have, arcade control panels don't have sticks, but they still must be able to control ES.

Just use PS3 Controller instead, they have much better D-Pad

They are way too expensive for my taste though!
