USB Encoder from Geek Pub

Has anyone gotten their USB Encoder from the Geek Pub site to work with Recalbox? I've tried multiple versions of Recalbox but it does not see the encoders. They work fine with vanilla RetroPie image.. Thoughts? I can't tell what type of encoders they are, they just have a geekpub sticker on them..

Is there a known working encoder brand? I would switch to that one.

Update, You cannot see either of the USB encoders when you list the USB devices via the terminal.

I've tried multiple versions of Recalbox but it does not see the encoders.

Test with a clean install of the latest official version and see if they are recognized in the terminal.
If they are not listed in the terminal, they are probably not supported.
