XBOX Series S/X Controller not pairing with Recalbox 7.1

hello, I have same problem...

Tutorial from Your link for me was hard and I've done this for other way.
I edit /etc/modprobe.d/bluetooth.conf file with help of Filezilla FTP.
I try also PuTTy by logging and use this tutorial https://recalbox.gitbook.io/documentation/tutorials/controllers/configuration-test/manually-connect-a-bluetooth-control.

Unfortunately no results.

change the value of the line in recalbox.conf:
controllers.bluetooth.ertm=1
to
controllers.bluetooth.ertm=0

not tested.

Hi guys,
I have the same issue with a Raspberry 4 / Recalbox 7.1.1.
Can't pair my Xbox Series Controller.
I'll try changing the values quoted. Others getting the same issue?

NO support!!! noooo! Do we have any idea why they are not supporting the wireless xbox one s? I mean if windows can do it? I was able to get it to pair, and connect on restart with 7.1.1 reloaded, but it wont work during emulation, Seems like its really close to working.

what I did to get it to Pair (but wont work in emulation)

nano /recalbox/share/system/recalbox.conf

controllers.bluetooth.ertm=0

##Enable PS3 controllers support
controllers.ps3.enabled=0

#

This allows me to pair and configure just once i start a game it doesnt work.
I also tried adding the lines below but they didnt change anything.

Enable xboxdrv driver, disable this if you enabled ps3 controllers (0,1)

controllers.xboxdrv.enabled=1

Set the amount of controllers to use with xboxdrv (0..4)

controllers.xboxdrv.nbcontrols=2

Seems so close to working anyone help?

Those controllers are not supported yet via bluetooth. You can use them only wired at this moment.

@pitch64 Is the XBOX one (S/X) controller meanwhile supported?
I see my controller during BT devices discovery but pairing fails.

If not supported yet, is it possible to install xpdadneo as this worked for me in retropie.

We tried to include xpadneo but we got some fails, so it's not included at this time

Is the implementation of xpadneo close or more far in the future?
If far away I will buy some other BT gamepad which already works. But if the implementation is soonish I would stick with my xbox controller.

Hello, on my RPi4 and Recalbox 8.1.1, the controller Xbox series X 1914 not working in BT, the recalbox said the controller is succeeded paired but the light didn't stop blinking rapidly (pairing mode).
The controller work correctly in Raspberry Pi OS.
Any news ?
