Recalbox 8.0 Beta!

The MAME's games "Field Combat" and "The combatribes" are detected wrongly as lightgun games. They works OK (without dolphin bar) but if I have the dolphin bar connected, then the game back to emulationstation on launch the game.
Tested on RB 8 beta. -
@ylatef this error is completely normal, the daemon is started without the modules loaded, so once you have this error, press Enter then you can reboot.
The script is not compatible with recalbox-wpaf as it can't have the possibility to write in the bus of the pi to shut it down. If you would like to use this script, do not use recalbox-wpaf and if you would like to use recalbox-wpaf, don't use this script but you won't have full shutdown of the case.

Hi, Im sorry to complain, but I was on 7.2.2 (with problems to get my hifiberry digi+ working) and today I was offered to update to 8.
Result: no roms are working anymore, my sound still doesn't work and my screen has the wrong aspect ratio. (it is 16:9 but my LCD monitor is 4:3).
I don't know what to do now.
AFAIK there is no way to downgrade to 7.2.2 again, right?
Please help me. -

Got a GPi Case, a Raspberry Pi Zero 2 and Recalbox 8.0. The Scraper doesn't work. But the bigger problem is I moved 65 megadrive roms (.md file format) into the md folder but they don't show up whereas the other games do. What's going on?

What needs to write and where now to activae composite output at Rb Pi4 with Recalbox 8???
I mean it's need to write sdtvmode=0\1\2 at config.txt or where else now to get picture in composite?

Will it be possible to output 15khz via the "VGA" D-Sub connector? (While also getting audio via HDMI?)

not sure if i should ask you this here but
the issue of
"Dreamcast no longer runs off the joystick, you have to use the D-pad. playing marvel vs capcom is unbearable for my kids"
is persistent in the final version while playing Marvel vs capcomweird thing is that SMK vs Capcom the joystick works.

@paulska Retroarch changed the way sticks and dpad are enabled. If there is no stick used in original game, it won't work here too.
You can force their use by going into RetroArch settings (Hotkey + B in game) then go to
Controls
>Port 1 Controls
>Analog to Digital Type
and select any of the 2 forced options. -
ill try that, and also try other games, maybe the config for whole dreamcast digital/analog is swapped in the final version. So possibly a mistake on their part which im guessing they would like to revert.

[I have a major problem
Running pi4 recalbox 8
Everything works ok apart from game sound.
I have Frontend music, and snap video sound.
But when I start any game they is no sound.

Hi, I am currently using Recalbox 6 on RP3b+ which I have configured for CRT support. I am using Jack-3xRCA cable.
Does the new Recalbox support this type of connection? If not, can you add it?

- in previous release of recalbox (8.0) fullscreen in duckstation worked correctly, but was bug with controls and key mapping (Disabled gamepad in duckststion )
Now controls work, problem with fullscreen
I don't suppose that is Stenzek by himself responsible for it as developer of duckstation - probably people who make port of duckstation to recalbox know about it better as they recalbox's developers...
