The last time I went to check compatibility of the Raspberry Pi 4 is (almost literally) ages ago. Does it run (smoothly) now? And how much RAM should I have?
And how well does the Raspi 4 handle N64 Games now? Since they were completely unplayable on Raspi 3...

I tested the entire ROMSET (yeah, I know....) and had about, hmm.....60 to 70 N64 games that played at full speed full frame rate with no frameskips etc on my Pi3.
In fact, some are even (just) playable on my Pi2, so not sure what ones you were trying !
I have just over 200 games now running great on the Pi4.
Technically, any Pi with 1 gig will run fine, but unless you start messing with scripts, it will not increase the video ram allocation of you have more than 2 gig. I have a 4gig one simply as I got it cheaper than the 2 gig.

I remember having tried a few games, I had here... Mischief Makers, Snowboard Kids and F-Zero X and they all didn’t run like... at all.
At the moment I have a Raspi Pi 3B and am thinking about an upgrade especially for the N64 games.

Thought I had a list of the PS3 ones, but cant find it just now.....
Goldeneye still runs like $hit, but, everyone who sees my Pi4 setup wants to try it, so its there.....

European games usually works better, because it's 50Hz and not 60Hz so it's less demanding.
