Hello! I've added these files to the bios folder
scph5500.bin - 8dd7d5296a650fac7319bce665a6a53c
scph5501.bin - 490f666e1afb15b7362b406ed1cea246
scph5502.bin - 32736f17079d0b2b7024407c39bd3050but games still don't work. What's wrong?

@Zing thank you, I read that thread, I checked my bios - it looks like correct. But no one rom works. I downloaded several roms from two sites. What can I check more? I know we can't share roms or bioses, but maybe can you give me a tip where to find a 100% working rom for testing? Or maybe can you check one of my roms?

You know it is against the forum rules, please do not insist, or I will be forced to take more severe measures.
Have you tested with another emulator/core?
Test on another computer, if it works, the incompatibility is between your computer and the emulator, and there is nothing to do.

@JayX hello
Which board are you using ?
In the bios menu, we're ok that all bioses are correct ? All green thumbs ?
At last, are you using compatible roms ? I suggest you try and use psx roms coming from the redump romset. -
@Scavy I use Intel Atom x86.
It turned out there is no Playstation in bios checking menu but files in share/bios definitely are. Why so? -
@JayX First, it indicates that you haven't even read the topic I suggested:
- scavy suggests in that topic that you should check the BIOS md5.
- I quote what are the common problems for a ROM not starting, and describe the BIOS in one post, and describe in detail how to check in another post on the same topic.
We can't do everything for you, at least read the topic I mentioned, everything is VERY WELL EXPLAINED.
-
@Zing ok, I tried again.
- I've copied scph5500.bin ,scph5501.bin, scph5502.bin to shared/bios and checked their md5 with tool - all hashes respect requirement described in readme.txt
- In the bios checking menu there is no Playstation section and scph* files. I don't know why.
- I've tried this usb stick with three different PCs and results are same.
Did I miss something?
And unfortunately there is no solution in the topic you mentioned. -
@JayX said in psx doesn't work but I've added bios file:
In the bios checking menu there is no Playstation sectio
Enter the BIOS CHECKER MENU again, at the bottom left, the fourth icon indicates that to display all systems it is necessary to press the X button on the joystick. Do this, and see if you have all the BIOS, and if they are recognized.
And unfortunately there is no solution in the topic you mentioned.
Maybe, but there are some possibilities in it, and there is an explanation on how to check the BIOS, there would be no reason to try to help you if you didn't even try to read the basic instructions.
In addition, there is a possibility that I have already mentioned:
Test on another computer, if it works, the incompatibility is between your computer and the emulator, and there is nothing to do.

@Zing thanks for all, finally puzzle collected and it works! Sorry for bothering you )
