RaspberryPi 400 compatibility

Will RB run on RPI400?
I want to play C64 and Amiga! -
@Pattick76 It is difficult to answer for now, the RPI400 has just been released, the team does not even have one to test.

My current experience is that it unfortunately doesn't run on my PI 400. It doesn't boot. For a very short moment it's only a short text visible in the upper left corner ("don't power off" ... or something similar).
On my PI 4 (4 GB) it's running very well (for that a very big applause for the dev-team!!!)
Even if I try to start the PI 400 with the already "initialized" Recalbox SD-card that is running fine on the PI 4 the PI 400 doesn't boot. -
rpi4 != rpi400
Just wait to have it included in Recalbox

D**ned , already bought one and had the same unlucky experience. I thought it’s based on Raspberry Pie 4 (00) and would work.

Even though the improvement is minor, a +300mhz speed increase, it's probably still a DIFFERENT processor. And Recalbox will probably need to be programmed specifically to run on it. Give it time and leave the Pi 400 in the box till that faithful day arrives.

@SkullGrin that’s the my plan. Thank you for the nice words.

yes but you have to add some bios for the amiga 600 and amiga 1200. The you must find also comabatable roms for the systems. It took me almost 12hours to find the bios (or you can buy them from amiga store becouse they are copyrighted). The recalbox can sow you with of the are missing. Also for the roms must. be in specific format.
