Emulator settings? Stuttering?

Just testing i am getting stuttering in all emulators, there is no option for vsync setting or anything, where is it all?

How do you access the emulators settings? confused?

Im running it on a Ryzen 1600x with a Geforce 1070gt

Latest version. 6.1.1, Xbox 360 controller. Roms on External USB 3 Drive

Obviously more power than i can shake a stick at.

None of that is the issue though, i talking about genesis at the moment but all seem to do it.

Stand alone emulator is perfect.

but in Recalbox Its stuck in the lowest resolution, which i cant seem to change, and is juddery like the vsync is off, but i can find now way to enter any emulator settings or change resolution? How difficult. Why is every front end a total pain in the ass?.

They just always seem very difficult to configure, like something as simple as changing resolution ???????
