black and white strips with HDMI only

Hi

I have some display issues with recalbox 6 on rpi3b
It seems to mainly happens with N64 and Dreamcast, but i've seen the same behaviour at times on the shutdown page of recalbox v6

A loaded game will look like this:

However, there is no display issue if I use an hdmi to vga cable plugged into the same TV.

Maybe this is a problem in videomode, which can be modified in the recalbox.conf file, but maybe it is the adapter HDMI to VGA that you are using.

Hi @Zing , thanks for your reply. However, the sentence you're quoting is out of context.

I wrote:

By this I meant that there is an issue with the HDMI to HDMI cable, but only for the dreamcast/n64 (so I guess a certain resolution)
but no display issue with the HDMI to VGA cable.

Now I understand, but have you ever tried to modify the videomode as I mentioned?
