Coin Operated Console Games

Good afternoon !

I own a bartop with Raspberry Pi 3B and a coin counter, works perfectly with the Arcade games (Capcom and NeoGeo) but I wonder if it's possible to make consoles games like SNES or Megadrive also coin-activated.

@talos4 no, because these roms / emulators / bios don't even know what a coin is.

@talos4 I can understand people wanting a coin counter to reproduce the feeling of the original cabinet, but when someone ask if he can do the same for home console games, since there is absolutely no justification, the first thing that comes to mind is "this guy is trying to make money illegally from my work".

@barbudreadmon yes i have a factory for Arcade bartops and i sell and rent a lot ! if you dont monetize you work its not my problem, if you want made things for free is your life choice.

@talos4 the Recalbox license doesn't allow you to sell any thing!

@talos4 Not our life choice but its more a simple respect of the differents licenses inside recalbox (like core emulator etc etc).
If you sell something under copyright you are just a thief and we don't need people like you here or using our system.
Feel free to leave this forum and create your own retrogaming system.
