Ça y est j'ai sauter le pas par contre il m'est impossible d’associer ma 8bitdo NES30 Pro, il la trouve bien mais "impossible d'associer la manette" et les touche A et B sont inverser sur ma manette filaire Xbox !

I somehow experienced the same. I actually was able to SSH in, but since I have chosen external storage devices, SSH will tell me the connection was closed by xxxx. Not sure if those are related.

I'm fairly new here, Christmas beta was actually the first recalbox I have installed on RPI3B+.
This is driving me nuts. I tried to modify the save/load state keys mapping and change to left/right shoulder button. However, every time I modify the file retroarchcustom.cfg, it gets reverted once I enter the game. With a yellow text below saying "Configuration Override loaded", which I assume was doing the change.

I also modified the input/DEFAULT.cfg file but it doesn't seem helpful either.

And the config file in share_init folder, I modified what I could find, not helpful.

So who's reverting those files? I'm rather confused. What should I do to change those settings?

On RPI3B, image 2018.12.24.Christmas.Beta

• with storage set as INTERNAL, SSH access WORKS,
• with storage set as USB Stick, SSH access FAILED.

Sorry, have to reply instead of further updating last post, because of some spam protection...:
Really have troubles with Wifi, connection just crashes when copying just 16 Megabytes of savegames by using SMB share.
Can exclude a problem with my Wifi, all clients, including latest Recalbox stable work like a charm with my wireless network, so problem occurs with latest beta only.
See screenshot (ping) too, in the end copy process crashes because auf connection loss:

Also interferrence with bluetooth controller is still present.
And I'm using Pi 3 B+ for testing.

In the meanwhile I have changed my Repeater, since I had another one for backup.
Here I used the 5 GHz network and everything seems to work fine. No bluetooth issues, no fail of connection when copying files....

Old repeater: TP-Link RE450 v1
New repeater: Fritz! Repeater 1750E
... both with latest firmware installed.

So in conclusion I cannot say if it's a 2,4 GHz problem (with many or all routers/repeaters affected), or it's just a problem with that christmas beta has with TP-Link RE450 v1... But there is a problem for sure, because as mentioned, I never had any problem with the old repeater in cooperation with other devices/systems.

Les bios sont en place ? Les extensions so

First, thanks to the developers for their work

I have the same problem as fosi, the Dreamcast emulator doesn’t work on RPI 3b + with the latest update 2018.12.24.Christmas.Beta

It's as if the bios are not present, whereas they are in the good folder.
The emulator worked with the beta 11/29/18 with the same bios.

Someone have an idea ?

J’ai le même problème que  fosi  , l’émulateur Dreamcast ne fonctionne plus sur RPI 3b+  avec la dernière mise a jour 2018.12.24.Christmas.Beta
C’est comme si les bios n’étaient pas dans le dossier, alors qu’ils y sont...

L’émulateur fonctionnait avec la beta 11/29/18 avec les même bios.

When posting a bug report, please be as much accurate as you can.
If possible, tell us:

• The hardware your recalbox is running on
• Anything specific in your configuration (exotic pad? HDD? USB? Network, ...)
• Default or user/custom theme?
• Optionnaly, if you have a big game collection, how many systems/games.

When a particular emulator is not working:

• Rom/game extentions
• BIOS
• Pad(s)

The last beta has been released on many systems, and every single system has its own particularities!
Without details, we won't be able to help you!

Merci pour le taf, cette nouvelle Beta semble vraiment s'approcher de la version finale

Install : nouvelle install sur SDCard
Système : Pi3B+

Deux problèmes identifiés (que je n'avais pas sur la précédente Beta) :

1. La liste des favoris se réinitialise au reboot (retour aux favoris par défaut)
2. Le scrapping ne semble pas enregistrer, et il n'est pas possible de l'arrêter...

Oups désolé, sur Odroid(nespicase) Samdisk Ultra 200go, câble réseau(wifi na jamais fonctionner pour moi) les bios sont en place, les extensions, tout est ok, les roms aussi(en tout les cas elle fonctionnais avec la dernière mise a jours bêta non christmas)
Et pour le 8bitdo NES30 Pro et bien A et B sont inverser, lorsque je veut confirmer la configuration de celui ci je suit obliger de faire B et non A pour confirmer, alors que j'ai bien configurer les touches A pour A et B pour B !

Tout sur la SD : 128Go formatée en Fat32.
A noter : je ne l'ai pas reformatée entre la beta précédente et celle-ci, juste passé par Etcher.
