@shinomen Well that didn't take long. I had configured only player one on my x-arcade stick. I got the great idea to go ahead and configure both player 1 and 2 and low and behold it's working! Sorry but thanks.

I tries to update the beta version and it crashed horribly, then everytime I tried to launch recalbox I obtained a black screen with a few lines of error...

I want to try and reinstall Recalbox again but I want to make a Multiboot system (NOOBS) the problem is that Network install it's not working... It says somthing like It can't find the file on the server...

Could this issue be solved?

PD: I'm using the latest NOOBS that incluided Recalbox.

The easiest way to try a BETA version is to make some run and trials from a fresh copye image. I do not think a dual boot will be a good option.

I understand that, but I would like to restablish the non beta version, but It doesn´t seems to download from NOOBS, it can't reach the server... It seems the file is unavailable

I want to change the GPIO map
I try this in recalbox.conf
controllers.gpio.args=map=5

And in mk_arcade_joystick.conf
options mk_arcade_joystick_rpi map=5 gpio=13,19,26,21,22,20,16,12,6,27,6,17

but the nothing works after rebooting recalbox.

@shinomen hello.i would like to do the same configuring 2P with my pandora box. I can only have 1p configuration. How did you do please? If i enable x-arcade mode in recalbox.conf, it will works on pandora? Thx

I have found that there is not much you need to do with recalbox to make pandora box arcade controller work. If you have a fresh image that you write to the SD card and then boot raspberry pi, you will then configure your player 1 controller from the controller settings > configure a controller. Then after you have finished and saved that, go back into controller settings > configure a controller, and this time hold one of the buttons on the player 2 side so it detects it and takes you to the controller configuration screen. Then configure all the buttons you want with that player 2 controller and save.

One issue I ran into with configuring the pandora controller was that my player 2 "select" button was not recognized when I try to configure it. So instead I assigned player 2 select to the button in the back of the controller that allows you to get to the exit menu typically when running the pandora box software.

After both players were configured, everything just worked.

@gaetan hi yes i have remapped my controller it also forgets the wifi after resetting the pi its as if your using external memory it forgets everything after a reboot

Wifi do not reconnect after reboot (you have to retype the password everytime and remove the enc one).
Internal Bluetooth frequent disconnect, or massive lag on 8bit do nes 30 pro (SF 30 pro seems to work normally).
tested on 3b + with the img on first post.

Exactement le même souci que @Choum avec le wifi et la manette 8bitdo nes30 pro v2 (firmware 4.1).
Concernant le wifi, nul besoin de retaper le code mais juste désactiver puis réactiver la connexion. C'est pénible mais cela fonctionne. Pour la manette je n'ai pas trouvé comment améliorer la stabilité et cela m'embêterait d'avoir à utiliser un dongle BT...

I just wanted to tell you that I tested the image on my Pi3B+ and it booted and the original PS3 sixaxis controller works.

I got a message that there is an update availble (249MB) which I did.
After that it rebootet and showed the same message - and I also did the update (again 249MB... maybe the first update was unsuccessfull or it were really 2 updates with the same size).

After that update the Pi3B+ just boots with a black screen and does nothing.
Maybe someone else have the same issue.

Hi,
the PI3 B+ release runs very well when using a PS3 controller (tested with the cable).

Unfortunately I have problems when using my X Box controller (with USB cable). The DPAD often stops working during the gameplay (SNES - Mario Kart/F-Zero). Using the analog stick is OK.

Hope you can fix it.
