Wrong section, therefore moved to the right one and to answer your question: You don't need to install N64. It is already installed. You just need to copy games to your /share/roms/n64 folder and the system will show up in ES.
Je me suis douté de cette réponse. 🙂
if it's possible on recalbox at all you have to be using the GenesisPlusGX core and open up retroarch's quick menu and disable FM sound under options. PicoDrive does not have that feature and it is the default emulator for sega consoles. To change the default emulator for a specific rom (I recommend this way since GenesisPlusGX is not as smooth on the Pi as PicoDrive) you go to the rom in emulation station and press select to edit the rom metadata. First two options should be set to libretro and GenesisPlusGX. This will force that emulator to be used always for that one rom. Alternatively (and not recommended) you can change ALL master system games to use GenesisPlusGX by pressing start in ES and going to the GAMES menu, ADVANCED, Master System and change emulator to libretro and core to GensisPlusGX. Here's a list of roms that support FM sound if you use the preferred method and want to edit the metadata just for that handful of roms: http://segaretro.org/FM_Sound_Unit Hope this helps Eric
Sorry Acris for taking so long to make a return ! Evidence season is a serious problem ! But the road was the same you indicated ! Let laziness aside and I move in the Core configuration ! I activated the " settings for core" and set the control assigning a button to the " diagnostic" which was pre configured for the R3 button. and interestingly it did not work. Then assign the L2 and it worked perfectly! For me the choice was lacking to leave the emulation perfect arcade in Recalbox ! Many, many thanks for your attention my friend! I'm new here and a good novice user , but I hope to give a nice return over time! Big hug! And I apologize for my terrible English! XD
Dear Acris dear Voljega, it took me weeks to get back to that problem for I was almost desperate. Thank you. What I did was simply - download the correct rom for mame4all - set the emulator to libretto and MAME078 - I do not know why this works, I still do not get it. Thanks anyway. Sebastian
If you use a RPi2, the emulation isn't perfect but is playable. Resolution : 640x480 Emulator : FBA 0.2.97.34 RetroArch options : - Integer Scale : On - Aspect Ratio Index : 19:14 - No shader/Filter And as @digitalLumberjack said, pgm.zip BIOS is needed in same folder as rom
I copied the whole set down and tried it all before I started cutting back to just the working stuff from the list. Don't worry I'll work out what it is. I can always just re-torrent down the few roms and retry.
