I have tried installing VPN Manager for openvpn and unfortunately does not work.
Tried shelling out and did not recognise -apt anyway.

I have asked the writer of vpn manager for openvpn to see if there is a workaround or not. I love recalbox compared to other images.

E.g Reys 128gb image, if you dont have a controller plugged in it wont load up. I mainly have mine unplugged and use cec with tv remote for kodi. I add subtitles to recalbox kodi version and other addons with no issues at all. Just need to get vpn working, as I have a paid service and may as well use it for this as well. Any help would be appreciated .

I copied the whole set down and tried it all before I started cutting back to just the working stuff from the list. Don't worry I'll work out what it is. I can always just re-torrent down the few roms and retry.

Yes I tried that link first before I posted and 0.78 source and binaries links are dead, which other sites also point to. I'll get a copy of someone. Thats good news you have given me about the roms then I'll see if anyone has a different copy of 0.78 and then can whack in my dropbox. I got the one of Pbay which now obviously has some corrupt roms. Thank you for testing , I am getitng there ! I would of missed the wboyzip in my text fle so thanks for that

I am lucky enough to own a nee geo cabinet so did not really try the emulator, I just used some of the games in the mame set. Anyway I have also tested it for you and works perfectly. I copied the neogeo.zip and a few versions of shock troopers. Just playing Shocktroopers set 1 This is a decent set of the roms you can search for FB_Alpha_v0.2.97.08_Neo_Geo_ROM_Collection_(NeoGeo_ROMs)_by_Lovok

Can someone with a pi3 test 3 roms for me please, see if they work for you. I have the latest version of recallbox and have just taken the working roms list out of my full 0.78 set. Most stuff now plays just 3 of my faves dont ! Can someone try them. This is the 0.78 set i.e default mame. Bubble Bobble (Japan, Ver 0.1) Double Dragon II - The Revenge (World) Wonder Boy Deluxe Just trying to work out if a few of the roms are corrupted. Oddly the mame set I downloaded of PBAY does not contain the mame078.exe so cant test on my laptop. I have tried a few links and most of them are dead. If someone does have a copy of just the emulator, I would appreciate it.

Thanks Volega, simply turned it , rebooted on and it worked a treat ! I'd read that before missed that about dealing with cropped images ! The overscan option can be enabled if you have black border on the image or if your image is cropped. You can enable overscan in the frontend by setting the Overscan option in UI SETTINGSto on.

Yes I was playing with the Sony Tv's settings yesterday, it also goes through a Yamaha AV amp via passthrough. I seem to have every setting for stretch zoom etc and smart , the only one missing seems to be shrink a little ! Will have a look if rather than the zoom settings itself if there is something hidden in a menu to disable the little bit of zoom it is doing. If not will look at the guide and have a play with the config.txt . Thanks for that .

Really loving the work and effort that has gone into this product, it should have been called Ronsealbox. "Does exactly what it says on the tin" ! Love the list of working games, that will save lots of frustration. I have a pi3 running your latest beta. I have a small annoyance I cant quite find an answer to. It the display on my LCD 1080p tv. A lot of posts talk about how to solve issues with borders. My issue is more the picture is slighly zoomed in , i.e I am missing pixcels at top and bottom. Just wondered if I need to somehow alter emulation station front end or the emulators configs somehow. Two prime examples and I think its most games but these are ones I am familiar with. Mame: Load Rtype world in mame I can see the beam power at bottom of screen, but cannot see the SCORE Gameboy Advance 1651 bubble bobble old and new (US).zip When the first software splash screen loads the word interactive is cut in half at bottom of screen. Then when you play the top of the screen the scoring is cut in half and again at bottom of screen a few lines are missing too. For some reason Bubble Bobble does not work for me within mame at moment even though have the 0.78 rom. Has anyone got it working, maybe i just have a corrupt rom? Could anyone else see if they have same issue or advise what I need to change. Its just a few lines top and bottom. I have no black border top and bottom the picture fills the screen. I have tried setting in the gui but not found a solution. Thanks Venom

Thats ok just my lazy writing of .ZIP when I wrote the extension. There are still some games that are said to be ok that dont load. Pretty sure that will be my end as I have a raspberry pi 3 that it has been tested on. e.g Wonderboy deluxe, bubble bobble and Double dragon 2 (world). I assume if my rom is corrupt I can just grab the rom out a later set and try that ? The games list is so much better saving me a lot of frutration and only a few I need to try and get working now !

No worries, I can work on the batch file, and get it working. How do we know when you update a game to working or if sheet changes,   shall I just check the spreddie out each month  ?   Hope people find it useful .

What a fantastic post thanks for all the effort in creating the spreadsheet I was getting fed up with mame with roms that did not work.  I really do appreaciate your efforts. I want to keep my mame list to working ones too ! I have done a sega and snes and PC engine top 100 games so far and just using those roms rather than the full sets. Anyway next time you post your spreadsheet can you add .zip to the rom name, just would save some time when pulling the roms out ! Anyway let me give something back to the community . For those who have a pi3 and a full set of mame078  and just want to pull the GREEN working roms out see the attached  games list.  Similar to what was done on previous post but hopefully a bit easier for people. You need to put your full 078 rom set in  a folder on windows called  c:\mame78  then created a new folder c:\venom I cant post a batch file. So open notepad and copy and paste the below and save as Venom.BAT into Venom folder. @echo off set src_folder=c:\mame78\ set dst_folder=c:\venom\ for /f "tokens=*" %%i in (venom.txt) DO xcopy "%src_folder%%%i" "%dst_folder%"   Put the attached venom.txt in the C:\venom folder to. It reads the gamelist  (venom.txt) I have created from the spreadsheet with only the working roms from the pi3 tab You need to put your full 078 rom set in  c:\mame78  then created a folder c:\venom Enjoy. The list was taken today  06th April 2016 Use Venom.txt I posted the other which is a dupicate by mistake and cant seem to remove it !
