@voljega I mean, it shows my IP address if that's what you mean. There has to be a faster way to get the roms onto the microsd card.

@voljega I'm not sure how to go about debugging it. I'm an absolute noob.

Files Transferring Slower
I'm running Recalbox on a pi3. I have my computer plugged into ethernet and the pi3 is on wifi. I transferred a rom just now and it took like 30 minutes. It was about 600MB. It completed and I was going to transfer another rom, WinSCP is saying that it will take 3 hours?
I'm monitoring the pi3 via Manager. Seeing if maybe that something is going on with the hardware. It says that the temp is 43 degrees. The memory seems to be maxed out at 98% with only 9MB free.
I'm not sure what's going on, but the wifi is obviously working because I'm actively monitoring it via my web browser. I'm also getting like 100mbps with my laptop.

RE: Move files from Computer to microsd via Reader?
@voljega I will probably use a USB stick for some. However, I have a lot of multiplayer games that I would like to have my USB slots open for. Yes, I could use a powered hub, but I'm trying to keep this setup portable.

@voljega Hmm, what about ethernet? I tried to plug my Pi3 into ethernet and it didn't work. Is there a way to force the Pi3 to use ethernet so that the transfer goes faster?

Move files from Computer to microsd via Reader?
I'm kind of fed up with how long it's taking to transfer small files over WIFI. Plus, I can't get WIFI to work consistently. Is there a way to transfer my ROMs directly by plugging my microsd into the card reader on my computer? I tried before, but the file system looked completely different than it did on WinSCP. I'm using Windows 10.

RE: Laptop Ethernet -> Raspberry Pi 3 Ethernet
@paradadf Hmm, this is strange. One time, I booted it up and WIFI did work. I took it out of the case and now the WIFI doesn't work. So, the issue seems to be completely unrelated to the case.

RE: Kodi & Recal different resolutions?
Oh god, this is sad. I rebooted the pi and my problem was fixed. Learn from me. If you have a problem like this, always reboot before you post.

Kodi & Recal different resolutions?
I have Recalbox by itself installed on a Raspberry Pi. When it booted up, it seemed to be working fine. However, when I went to Kodi, the resolution was a squarish 5:4 like resolution. Sure enough, Kodi was set to 640x480p... Weird.
I changed it to 1920x1080p and that worked for Kodi. When I went back to Recalbox, it was in a squarish resolution in the bottom left hand corner of the screen? I didn't have issues like this when I installed Recalbox with NOOBS. Does anyone know what's going on / have a fix for this?

RE: playstation roms don't open
@paradadf It ended up that I had uploaded the .rar of my rom instead of the .bin. Once I extracted the .bin, it worked.

Laptop Ethernet -> Raspberry Pi 3 Ethernet
I just got a Wicked Aluminum case for my Raspberry Pi. It's a great case! However, the WIFI doesn't work when it is in the case. Is it possible to get an internet connection if I plug an Ethernet cable from my laptop to the RPi3?

RE: playstation roms don't open
@oyyodams Sorry about posting so many times. It won't let me edit my posts. So, I installed the BIOS and it's still not working. I used SCPH1001.

RE: playstation roms don't open
@oyyodams Nevermind, I'm dumb. I forgot about the BIOS.

RE: playstation roms don't open
@oyyodams So, now my Playstation game is uploaded. However, it won't play.

RE: playstation roms don't open
@oyyodams Currently, my speed is 10mbps.
-
RE: playstation roms don't open
@oyyodams I'm using WinSCP over my WIFI network.

RE: playstation roms don't open
@oyyodams D**n, it's sure going slow. Like, it says it's going to take 48 minutes to transfer a file that's 600MB.

RE: playstation roms don't open
When I try to upload PSX ROMs, it says that the file is "too large".

RE: N64 Not Loading Games
@paradadf Thank you! Does that mean that the zipped files are somewhere on the microsd card, taking up space, even though they don't show up?

N64 Not Loading Games
I am running a Pi3. I loaded some Super Nintendo ROMs on it with no issue. However, I tried to put some N64 ROMs on it to no avail. I tried twice actually. Both times, they seemed to upload, but when I rebooted the pi3 none of the ROMs showed up. I checked on the Manager as well and they do not seem to be there either, even though I saw them upload using the manager with my own two eyes.
