So i'm going to move out in a month, and i met my girlfriend about two years ago by bringing my own portable recalbox to uni and playing there. She asked if i had crash in it and i said no, so the next day she brought me a USB stick with all three roms and i had to put them in so she could play. We also played some smash and mario kart together. Fast forward a year, and we play in each other's house every now and then, so i want to give my raspberry pi to her, with all our favourite games. I have already changed the startup video and the menu's music. I tried making a custom theme, but i can't really get the hang of it. The problem is, the video is 25 seconds long, and it fades about 5 seconds before it ends. The video is some "gameboy" looking pictures of us, with the first song i dedicated to her in 8-bit style. It needs to be 25 seconds because its the "important" part of the song. Is there any way to make the startup time longer?

RE: corrupted racalbox?
@oyyodams i used to have them in my own linux, but that laptop sadly got messed up in a flooding so that's not longer an option. I managed to get linux running on a VM and bought an sd-usb adapter and i can now access my files. I guess i'll be closing this thread now.

corrupted racalbox?
So i was updating recalbox about 2 months ago and light went off, i never knew if the update was done or not. Fastforward to today, i'm trying to make a "console" for my girlfriend as our second year anniversary full of the games she likes and we can play together. The thing is, i tried to run recalbox and it says "End kernel panic - not syncing: attempted to kill init! exitcode=0x00007f00" and it won't boot. I can't re-install because i spent well over two months downloading the roms (before today and the update. i've been gathering roms ever since i got recalbox). My internet connection is really bad, and i need to have this before october. Is there a way to "fix" this besides reinstalling? Or is there a way i can access the SD card to get my ROMS before reinstalling? I'm using the NOOBS dual boot with raspbian, but i can't seem to access the files from there. Any ideas?

Connect on/off button and fan
So i want to add an on/off button to my recalbox, but i have a fan connected and the on/off switch needs the ground connection too. Is there a way to connect them both without needing a protoboard or something going outside the box?

Any diablo-ish games?
So, i've had a lot of fun re-playing diablo for the PS1 emulator. But are there any other hack-slash-loot RPG games out there for any of the other consoles recalbox can emulate? Sorry if i'm in a wrong category, i don't really know where this would fit in

PSX emulator not detecting controller?
So i've been wanting to play some PSX games on recalbox for a while now. I had been playing on an old laptop but decided to switch to a raspberry. The games run way smoother for what i can tell, but it won't detect the controller. On my old laptop PSX games were at like 2 FPS menu/in-game and now i get to the 45~60 mark on the menu, but no button will work. I'm using the newest recalbox version. Any ideas?

I can't get NEOGEO, MAME nor Libretro to work.
So, i'm new at this. I wanted to sell my laptop but a firend of mine told me to turn it into a retro gaming system. It works great! NES, SNES, N64, Dreamcast, even PSP and PSX games work perfectly too! (some stuttering on gameplay in PSP and audio on N64, but its bearable).
The thing is, i can't play any NEOGEO, MAME or Librertro games. I have the neogeo.zip thing on both librertro and neogeo folders and on the bios folder too but nothing happens. The mame games are the version the forums say it should be. Neither my friend or me know what's going on and for some reason i can't boot recalbox on my main desktop PC or his laptop to check if it works there. Any ideas?
