@Zing said in Anyexternal SSD Nespi 4:
@RetroWilly The correct is to select the name of your storage device, but anyexternal should work.
But, read this, it might help:

Thanks for replying. I figured the USB port switch out myself after my USB ports on the case were not responding very well. Switching from USB3 to USB2 did that trick. Also does my system just doesn't see the SSD, very strange.
Did a fresh install, and now my led on my NesPi is also not working anymore.
Hello,
Been away for awhile, and was really happy Recalbox came available on the Pi4. Bought a Nespi 4 case, so I can use an SSD.
Here is the thing.
In options which storage to use I selected anyexternal, in my experience with Recalbox this is any external storage i presume. However when i check this option it still shows my SD card status, and it looks like it also filled my SD card with roms. (32GB -16gb used, 62%) My SSD is 120GB..
Did I do something wrong here?
Hi all,
As a big fan of Recalbox, i want to do a little contribution to this with a custom theme i made. It is based of Simplelight with a couple of visual and sound changes.
Meet Blisslight, a simple yet light theme Recalbox 4.1 ready.
-Some Systemlogo's changed/modified.
-Customized favourites backgrounds.
-Customized all backgrounds of the systems.
-Customized imageviewer background.
-Changed systems music.
-Bug fixes ( Neslogo not showing in gamelist, PC-Engine bug, etc.)
I like to add that Blisslight is not ment to compare with other themes, because they are great. My goal with Blisslight was to create a new kind of Simplelight theme wich can completely be used to keep up the updates!
Anyhow, Some screenshots:

@retrowilly so perfect ! done, it fits perfectly thanks
You're welcome.
You were right, but now it is!
Remember it is .png instead of .svg, so you need to change your xml also.
Here is the link wich contains several .svg favorites logo's.

Thanks, i will upload them soon. Need to get some arts working first.
@Substring
Came up with this...Will work on it later
@substring Now that you mentioned it, lol.
Edit* Not completly tho.
For my Blisslight theme i've been trying to update some Recalbox Logo's.
One of them is the favorite logo. Any thoughts?
Here are some of my creations based on the favorite logo.
.SVG files are available if someone is interested.
@dodo i will try to find it all and make a list of it. Nuts in a good way? lol
@dodo As far as i know it already is in the Recalbox repository. But there are so much more nicer themes available
I can't read french, but i can't wait for this theme. It looks really cool!
Thanks, i will adjust that error. Tried to respond earlier, but there is much going on in my life right now
Edit* No idea how that sneaked in, but i made a pull request for it on Github

@substring , Thanks for the quick reply! When i get behind my Pi i will check if i can share the logs.
@Substring , So renaming the folder will do the trick here? Or is there some editing needed on the files itself?
So, i decided to try out the new RetroFlag Nespi case, and i was pretty surprised by the great quality of the case!
Got it early and while it was cheap, and they became pretty hard to buy these days., So i'll let the images do the talking to give you guys an idea about it.
Also put a fan in it, and some extra big heatsinks, and temps won't go higher than 45 Celsius. And i put a 64GB nano usb stick in it for my roms, saves, and other data. MicroSD is easy to reach, but it gives my NesPi sort of internal memory.
In short terms, i'm pretty happy with this little case. And they did a great job replicating a Nes Classic without the loss of the feel of quality. Only down point is the placement of the ethernet on the frontside, under the lid. Who thought of that..
