@zing Done, everything's in order and working as it should. Again, thank you very much!

RE: Recalbox doesn't show up in my network anymore (Windows 8)
@zing Okay then, I've made backups and did a clean reinstall of Recalbox. I can now access the "fba_libretro" and "gbc" folders, everything seems to work fine so far in that regard. But I can't add CD-sized games due to size restriction yet or edit the menu music.
I'll look into how to edit my network, so I can access the "share" folder again. Thank you very much for your help so far.

RE: Recalbox doesn't show up in my network anymore (Windows 8)
@zing I think a clean installation might be for the best. Just one thing, how do I go about the current microSD? Do I just flash Recalbox to it again or do I have to perform a reset, and if so, how?

RE: Recalbox doesn't show up in my network anymore (Windows 8)
@zing Tried it again, those two folders are still inacessible and lead to an endless loading cycle. Regardless of whether ES has been stopped or not, other folders work fine. I don't know if other systems are affected as well, since I don't have ROMs for every system on my Recalbox. I noticed these two in particular because I wanted to edit the metadata of some specific games, other platforms seem to be fine.
I've checked my SDCard for errors, Windows couldn't detect any. FBA_libretro and gbc are odd because I couldn't grab data for them via the Universal Scraper, maybe that's got something to do with it?
Worst case scenario, I'll have to try a clean reinstall.

RE: Recalbox doesn't show up in my network anymore (Windows 8)
@zing That worked, I was able to access my Recalbox via its IP path. And it seems a lot more comfortable to move files and edit metadata that way, so thank your for the suggestion. However, I can't access the "FBA_libretro" and "gbc" folders for some reason.

Recalbox doesn't show up in my network anymore (Windows 8)
Hi there.
For some reason, I can't access my Pi3B through my laptop (OS: Windows anymore. It used to show up in my network, but it's no longer there. The Recalbox has internet access and I was able to use the Universal Scraper with it via my laptop, but I still can't access the Recalbox itself. Am I missing something?

RE: Create backup of metadata
@gaetan I was afraid that it would be more complicated than that, so I am glad to hear it's that easy. Thanks!

Create backup of metadata
Hey there.
I still have trouble with my Recalbox on my Pi3B. It's currently stuck in 18.06.27, updates don't remain installed and added games or saves are gone once the system is restarted. I'm afraid that nothing short of a reinstall might fix the problem. I have backups of my games and everything, but with the scraper no longer having access to TheGamesDB, re-entering all the information by hand is not a task that I look forward to. Is there any way to export the metadata (developer, release date, packshot etc.) and use it after the reinstall?

No longer able to update to 18.07.13, severe save issues
Hey there.
I've had an issue with my Recalbox when the 18.07.13 update came out, where I would download the update and after finishing the download and rebooting the system, I would get another notification that the same update is available for download. As of now, I no longer get a prompt for an update and I can't seem to find an option to manually search for updates.
Also, newly added games no longer show up on the menu after turning the system off. Saves on certain emulators, such as Sega CD, PSX and ScummVM get lost as well when using the designated save features; not referring to savestates.
I'm using a Raspberry Pi 3B, current version is 18.06.27.

RE: Mapping NeoGeo Classic/Modern doesn't change on FBA libreretro
@barbudreadmon I see. Well, it's mostly a convenience thing for me, since I've been playing with the modern mapping on all SNK titles so far and prefer it that way. I'll just remap the buttons per game.
Either way, I'm glad there's a modern mapping in the first place, so thanks for that.

@barbudreadmon Does the fix include the Metal Slug series as well?

RE: Enter ROM menu in arcade games
In FBA, you can set a certain button configuration in the RetroArch menu, for example holding the Start button, to access the ROM menu. In MAME, you should be able to enter the ROM menu by pressing either L2 or R2.

RE: Reset FBA_libretro core/configuration to default
Games still display "Insert coin" when booted, even though they were set to Freeplay. Fatal Fury Special for example:
fba-dipswitch-fatfursp-Free_play = "On"
It seems that the dipswitch settings were overwritten since it also displays the credit level, even though I turned it off in the dipswitch settings.
I've edited
fba-neogeo-controls = "newgen"
as well as
fba-neogeo-controls-p1 = "newgen"
fba-neogeo-controls-p1 = "newgen"but Garou: Mark of the Wolves still uses the "classic" button layout.
Is there something specific I should look for in either retroarchcustom.cfg or retroarch-core-options.cfg?

Reset FBA_libretro core/configuration to default
Happy Holidays, everyone!
I've updated my Recalbox to the current version and I think I've made an oopsie with the FBA_libretro core. I originally configured my Neo Geo games to automatically run in freeplay mode and to use a modern button layout instead of the classic one. The update seems to have changed something about the button layout because it was different than before. I must've made a mistake when I tried to reverse it, because now "Configuration override loaded." is displayed when I start a game in FBA_libretro and I can't seem to change it. Is there any way to reset my configuration/core to default?
Thanks in advance.
