@voljega That's the problem, I didn't copy those over. Any way to get them back without re-scraping everything?

RE: Various problems with update 18.03.30 Raspberry Pi
@voljega I restarted with a fresh new install of Recalbox on my SD card. Then I put all of my roms and my scraper images onto the USB drive. Now MAME is working with the games again but isn't showing a bunch of duplicates like it used to. MAME is also showing the scraper info and images, but every other system isn't! I have spent so much time doing all of this stuff and scraping roms and every time a new update comes out something goes wrong.

Various problems with update 18.03.30 Raspberry Pi
I just had the chance to do the update and now I'm having a couple of random problems. A lot of the stuff I had scraped is not showing. I scraped everything on my Pi and now certain consoles aren't showing anything at all, not just random games like before. Some random Famicom games wouldn't load. Then I went to Mame and all the games I had been playing, Galaxian, Galaga, Galplus, now they won't work. I hadn't played around with it much so who knows what else is possibly messed up. Anyone else having problems or did my stuff just not update correctly? With the update just before this one, something weird happened. I use the micro sd just to install Recalbox, then I have a USB drive for consoles, and one for all the arcade roms. When I booted it up all three ways it re-downloaded and installed the update. When I started the Pi up today I did so with no usb drives so I could mess with the new theme settings and not have it take forever to reload between options and it downloaded and installed this update twice. When I reloaded with my two different usb drives it luckily didn't try to install again (which is the way it always worked before). Sorry this was so long winded, I just wanted to make sure and give as much info so I can get the right help.

RE: Cannot pair Dualshock 4 controller in 4.1
I have an update to my problem. I use the internal SD card just to install Recalbox on, then a USB flash drive for console roms, and another for arcade roms. As far as I can tell, pairing the controllers doesn't pair it to the Pi itself, but rather pairs it to each devices settings. The problem is when I tried to just pair it with the other drive, it didn't want to pair. When I hooked it up with a USB cable for a bit, then unplugged it, it let me pair it. However, when I tried that same method later, it wouldn't work again. Does anyone have any ideas?

RE: Cannot pair Dualshock 4 controller in 4.1
On my Pi 3 after the 4.1 update downloaded the first time I tried pairing my DS4, it worked. Then when I plugged in the USB drive and rebooted it, my DS4 wouldn't pair. I ran into other problems so I did a fresh install, after which the DS4 still won't pair.

New 4.1 Bios files?
What new bios files, if any, will we need for the 4.1 update additions?

RE: Recalbox v4.0.2 on Pi 3 PC Engine CD games not working now.
@substring I actually just figured out the problem and came back to update. All of my files are on an external device. I checked every other system and things worked fine. The problem was with the syscard3 bios, I just downloaded a new one and it fixed it. I don't know why the other one quit working when it was fine before.

Recalbox v4.0.2 on Pi 3 PC Engine CD games not working now.
I upgraded to the Pi 3 and now my PC E CD games won't work. I transferred all of the bios files and checked the .bin and .cue to make sure they were lower case. Everything was fine until I switched to the Pi 3. I checked all of my other emulators and they are fine, so I don't know what to do now.

RE: Can I use the micro SD I have made for my Pi 2 on my new Pi 3?
Thanks for the info, I'll try to find the best / easiest way for me to move the roms and themes and stuff over.

RE: Can I use the micro SD I have made for my Pi 2 on my new Pi 3?
@abunille I specifically bought 32 gb micro SD cards for my Pis. For one, I don't have extra usb drives that size around. Another reason is so I don't need to carry around another device , that also will use another usb port by the way, for easier travel and uses less space. There has to be a better way. I don't understand why the SD cards aren't compatible with the different Pis. The downloads and operating systems are the same. I'm not good with coding or anything like that, I just use my Pi for Recalbox and Kodi.

@abunille Going back to the blog I see where I got confused. Thank you!

Can I use the micro SD I have made for my Pi 2 on my new Pi 3?
I just got a Pi 3 in and took my micro SD card from the 2 and put it in the 3. It shows some boot screens then nothing but black. I put the SD card back in the Pi 2 and it still works. I have tried an OXMC SD card I made months ago on the Pi 2 in the 3 and it worked fine. I don't want to start from scratch because of all the work I put into customizing Recalbox on the Pi 2 and adding all those roms. I keep a backup of the SD card image to prevent problems but I just can't figure out what to do.

Recalbox 4.0.2 no on screen keyboard option
I didn't even know this was a feature until I looked at the blog to see the changes in updates. The option to turn this on is nowhere in my settings.

RE: Sega CD / Turbo CD Works on internal but not external storage
I went and checked again, and there were a couple of games that the reference to the bin file was .bin not .BIN. But editing them did no good and the games that had the extension in caps still worked in my internal memory. I know the bios files are there because I get the menu for the CD player for Sega CD and it will play music tracks from the game. It has to be something other than the .bin file extensions causing the problem.

RE: Sega CD / Turbo CD Works on internal but not external storage
I double checked all of this and the files are named correctly. Like I said though, they work on my internal storage but not external.

Sega CD / Turbo CD Works on internal but not external storage
I can play the Mega/Sega CD and Turbo/PC Engine CD games fine on my internal storage just fine. But when I put them on my external device they won't play. I have the bios files in the bios folder. I want to use external storage for this since the file sizes are so big. I'd appreciate any help.

RE: Default config.txt
Thank you, but now I'm even more confused. The only thing I had done tonight was edit the config.txt file and rebooting to see if my changes worked and now the recalls will only show the hold shift screen. It goes black after that. I re edited the co fig.txt to the default and it's still not working.

Default config.txt
I have searched all over and can't find what I'm looking for. I screwed up something and need the default config.txt so I can figure out what's wrong and can't find the whole thing anywhere. Please help.
