    • RE: News: Recalbox 6.2, or 6.3, or... well, the next version!

I love the upcoming changes. Many thanks for still supporting Recalbox after all these years, it's definitely my favorite retro system.

    • Working USB<>PS1/PS2 controller converter for ddr dance mats?

      Hello,

is anyone using a working converter so you can use your old PS1/PS2 controllers for recalbox? If yes, which one is it?

I have two official Dance Dance Revolution dance mats here at home but the converters I tried aren't really working. I would like to play with some friends the PS1 DDR games.

      Thanks!

I see. I'm considering getting an Intel NUC7I3BNH for Wii/GameCube/Dreamcast Emulation. Do you think this would be enough if you compare it with your system? How well does the emulation works on it?

    • Anyone using an Intel NUC with Recalbox?

      Hello there,

I'm new to the Intel NUC series and simply want to ask you guys if anyone has a working NUC with Recalbox on it. As far as I've read online there're some models which are noisy and other don't work at all.

      Thanks!

      Router by cable.

      By wifi.

It's a current bug I also have. In my case I have to disable Wifi and enable it again so it starts working.

    • RE: Can't add roms Disk usage N/A ?! 128GB card

@substring It's at least a working solution and I'm at the current OS-version after I updated it from the recalbox-menu itself.

@rickz The Samsung EVO works well. In fact, I'm using the 256GB version and had the very same issue as you have.

Install one of the older recalbox-versions, like the 4.0.1 or 4.0.2. Shouldn't they work, then go with even an older one. Unfortunately I don't remember which version I used for it but I think it was an 3.x-version.

@Substring The issue is that the newer ones actually do not install but just boot the OS on Samsung-cards. I had no problems installing it with an older version.

    • RE: Recalbox 18.06.27 is out!

Guys, don't be stingy with the change log and add more details to the blog please.

Just found out that the Daphne Emulator has been added. Nice!

    • RE: Request: Tutorial for connecting a tablet pc with recalbox

@substring What is there else to say? I simply want to use a tablet pc as a screen for Recalbox. Is it possible or likely not? And if yes, how?

    • RE: Sandisk 256 GB USB stick to store games, will it work or too big for Pi 3 ?

It will likely work but I suggest you get a SD Micro Card instead of the stick like I have done it yesterday.
But in any case, just be aware that you can't simply copy-paste everything 1:1 without Linux knowledge. You need to install Recalbox from scratch anew and copy your /roms (or even better, the whole share folder) on your hard disk before you transfer it to your new stick or micro card.

Should you have any issues with the recalbox 4.1 installation (like getting a black screen without the actual installation process starting), I recommend you downloading one of the former versions.

      @gnubit @Substring

I want to use it as a screen when I'm out of the house.
I'm sure it's likely easier to connect with a laptop/notebook but I really would appreciate it if I could play anywhere, especially when I'll start traveling.

    • Request: Tutorial for connecting a tablet pc with recalbox

It's pretty hard to be honest and I would actually need a step by step guide.
After I connected at the SSH nothing really works anymore for me or I simply have no idea what to do next.
