It's a problem of lr-pcsx-rearmed emulator, you have to get in touch with the Libretro team. Recalbox has nothing to do with the problem

I didn't know about these overlays ! But as it's related to kernel, and we're 2 years late on that point, i'm not surprised they don't work.
BUT : this should be solved in the next 2-3 months
