    • RE: Odroid Go Advance - Stuck at Welcome Screen

I found the gitlab commit in the beta11 branch. I just needed to ad a few lines to the es_input.cfg in system/.emulationstation/ .
Now 7.1.1-reloaded works. This might help every other odroid go advance (v1) user. It has to be added before </inputList> at the end of the file.

I found this in the changelog for the next release:

      • Fix Odroid Go Advance controller (v1)

      Might be the problem.

Unfortunately the results are the same when flashing the image via Pi Imager.

I flashed RB 7.1.1 to a 128gb sandisk ultra using balenaetcher.
I also have a 32 gb sandisk with Batocera 29 which is working fine. So I don't think it's a hardware issue.

      Yes, I can. 🙂
      Batocera and Emuelec work fine.

      Hello my dear friends,

I just flashed Recalbox 7.1.1 onto an sdcard and put it in my Odroid Go Advance. It booted up, but doesn't react to any buttons I press except the power butten, thap puts it into sleep mode.

      Any ideas?

After 3 more hours of testing I found the right config file. It works now.

    • GPi Case Recalbox 6.1.1 access Retroarch in-game menu

      Hello,

I'm using Recalbox 6.1.1 with a Raspi Zero W in the GPi Case. Everything is working fine. But I can't access the Retroarch in-game menu.
On my Pi 3 it is done by pressing hotkey + B. The GPi doesn't do anything. However quicksave and load does work.

      Do you have any ideas.

      Thanks in advance.

Is there a changelog for version 6.1? I could not find anything. Thanks!

    • Change button mapping for Amiga

      Hi everyone!

I'm looking for a way to change the button map for Amiga. By default the standard fire button is circle for PS3 controllers (B for XBOX controllers). I'd like to change that to X (A).

I've seen that there is an option for a custom button layout. Unfortunately it does not seem to have any effect. Is there a way to change that.

      Thanks in advance.

    • Playstation: Some PBP Multidiscs boot, some don't

      Hi there,

I'm trying to get my Final Fantasy PSX games (VII, VIII and IX) to work in Recalbox. I own all the original (german) discs. They work in my original PS1 (at least when I flip the console upside down 😉 ). I created images of the discs with ImgBurn. They work in Recalbox and on epsxe on my pc.
Now I tried to create pbp multidisc files using psx2psp 1.4.2. But no matter how I configure it, Final Fantasy VIII and IX don't run. Final Fantasy VII works just fine. I can also change virtual discs.
The strange thing is, that the pbp files do work in epsxe on my pc. The pi3 always shows a black screen and returns to Emulationstation after a while. I tried Recalbox 4.0.2 and 4.1.

      Any ideas?

      Thanks!

    • RE: Recalbox 4.1- Can't copy roms although there is enough space

@nwildner It is a Kingston sdcard and works fine in my smartfone. I solved the problem by using another sdcard. Seems like the pi3 doesn't like the kingston sdcard. Retropie does also have issues.

      thanks nonetheless!

    • Recalbox 4.1- Can't copy roms although there is enough space

      Hi,

I just set up a new installation of Recalbox 4.1 on a 64GB sdcard. Everything works fine, but if I try to upload a hole romset via samba share (\RECALBOX\share), at some point the copying process stops, because there isn't enough free disk space. Nevertheless there are still 55GB of free diskspace. Uploading via webinterface also stops at some point. Any ideas?

      Thanks!
