After update my recalbox to 8.0.2 I can't put all vertical games on mame on 1:1 its stucked on 16:9.
In version 7 worked normally, to illustrate the problem better, in emulator settings I put the aspect ratio to 16:9 and manually put the vertical games on 1:1, so I have horizontal games ate full screen and vertical games with aspect ratio 1:1 , in version 8 I can't do this settings.
Any solutions or workaround to have horizzontal games at full screen and vertical games at 1:1?
Guys let me explain it better.
I can't get sound thru the jack sound output, if I change via menu it doesn't work, the same occur if I change via web manager, if I edit recalbox.conf and put jack, save the file and reboot I have sound, but after another reboot the sound is gone.
So i checked the recalbox.conf again and the line audio.device=jack change automatically to audio.device=Default output that's why the sound don't work.
Apparently choose headphone via menu or webmanager doesn't work, searching here it was told to me that headphone isn't a valid option, So it doesn't work.
The question is if there is a workaround or an update is necessary to fix this.
Après avoir changé le redémarrage de recalbox.conf, le son fonctionne mais après un autre redémarrage de cette ligne:
audio.device = jack
revenir à cette valeur:
audio.device = Default output
Ensuite, le son cesse de fonctionner à nouveau.

I've made a fresh install to use recalbox 7.0.
I can get sound thru HDMI but via P2 conector there are no sound at all.
Using another card w/ version 6.1 i can get sound from P2.
Does anyone know how to fix this???

Hi, could someone know how can I map 2 buttons to act like one in FBA?
Based on GPIO controls I would like to config neo geo buttons to work like this:
Y=A
X=B
L=C
B=C
A=D
R=D
I don't know if it is possible to do this, I know that in mame I can do but don't know if in FBA this is possible, I like to play neo geo games with an "square" config like:
A B
C D,
But I have some friends that prefer to play in a "L shaped config like:
A B C
------D,
If I could config to
A B C
C D D
I could resolve the issue and never reconfigure the buttons everytime that someone loses and other parson with other preference of button order come to play.
After the last update MK got a lot of sound glitches, I've put another revision of the game and it works normal.

What exactly does it mean to rewrite the configgen to adv mame?
If I understand you will make a new configuration file? If it is the case is it necessary to download this file and copy it to a folder or will it be necessary to wait for a new update?

Hi, I'm looking for some help and hopes that someone could help me.
I have 3 sd cards w/ recalbox 4.1 two of then was made a fresh install but in none of the 3 sd cards I can play a game using Advance Mame as emulator.
After choosing a game configurated to use advance mame as emulator my controller simply doesn't work, not a single button even using a keyboard nothing works, and I can't exit the game too, I have pressed all the keys on the keyboard but nothing happens.
I tried with Xbox 360 controller, PS4 Hori Mini Fight Stick, GPIO, all configured thru the control menu but it was in vain,it doesn't work.
Everything else works, all systems, all games.
Somebody knows what could be causing this and what should I do to resolve?
