      @deckerleben

      Freut mich, dass es funktioniert, hab' gerne geholfen.

      @Zing
      Ihre Antwort zeigt einmal mehr, für wie groß und mächtig Sie und ihr "Team" sich doch halten.

      Einfach die Arbeit von anderen, sprich die Emulatoren, nehmen, und dazu dann einfach ein hübsche Oberfläche basteln und als großes eigenständiges Werk verkaufen.

      Und wie steht's mit dem Support ?
      Gibt's scheinbar auch nicht richtig, denn viele meiner im englischen Teil des Forums gestellten Fragen zur aktuellen Version 8 sind vom "Entwicklerteam" immer noch nicht beantwortet.

      Wenn man sich kritisch äußert, kommt immer wieder die Entschuldigung "Wir sind ein kleines Team und können uns nicht um alles kümmern".

      Ja, dass muss ich mir doch vorher überlegen, wenn ich mit großem "Trara" eine Software auf dem Markt bringe, die vielleicht nicht fehlerfrei ist.
      Schauen Sie sich doch mal in Ihrem Forum um, wieviele Problem und Fragen es mit Version 8 der Recalbox gibt.

      Aber nein, Hauptsache es wird runtergeladen, wenn' s dann Probleme gibt, lässt man die Leute mit der oben genannten Ausrede nach dem Motto "Hilf dir selbst, dann hilft dir Gott" einfach im Regen stehen.

      @zing said in Recalbox 8 on Asus Eee PC - Another Question:

      To avoid the possibility of a severe system crash.

      LOL, what ?

      In the old Versions of Recalbox it was possible to delete the Games without any Problems.
      I'm still usesing Recalbox 6.0 on my Raspberry Pi 3b+ (because for me this works fine an didn't give me any Troubles like the new 8.0 on my Asus Eee Pc) and had removed the preinstalled Games.
      And gues what ? The System never over crashed all the years !

    • Can't switch to another Playstation Emulator

      In Recalbox 8 I'm using the Playstation 1 "Duckstation"-Emulator on my Asus Eee PC.
      Now I want to change to another Emulator (Libretro Mednafen_PSX_HW, Libretro PCSX-Rearmed, Libretro Mednafen_PSX or Libretro Swanstation) but this doesn't work !

      I go to
      Settings -> Advanced Settings -> Advanced Emulator Configuration -> Sony Playstation 1
      and change the Emulator to one of the ones mentioned above.
      Then I got back and when I start a Playstation game, always the "Duckstation"-Emulator and not the one that I had chosen starts.

      So why can I switch to another Playstation Emulator ?

      @stigzler
      There is a Duckstation Config-File in the Recalbox/Share/System Folder.
      At last on my Asus Eee Pc.

    • RE: Ältere Versionen/Images Recalbox

      Also ich finde das Verhalten der "Recalbox-Macher" einfach unverschämt.

      Da wirft man eine neue Version "auf den Markt" die vielleicht noch etliche "Bugs" hat und lässt Leute, bei denen es nicht läuft, die wieder "Downgraden" wollen und kein altes Image mehr haben einfach "im Regen stehen".

      FÜR MODERATION BEARBEITET: BITTE ERMUTIGEN SIE NICHT DIE VERWENDUNG VERALTTER BILDER.

    • And another "Recalbox on Asus Eee PC" Question

      How can I set the "Game Ratio" for the Sony Playstation 1 Emulator "Duckstation" to 16/9 ?

      I go to
      Settings -> Advanced Settings -> Advanced Emulator Configuration -> Sony Playstation 1

      Here I change the "Game Ratio" from "Auto" to "16/9" but it didn't work, the Games are always in the 4/3 Ratio.

      Even if I edit the "recalbox.conf" and put the line "psx.ratio=16/9" in it, it dosen't affect the Emulator.

      It worked fine for all the other Emulators (Libretro Mednafen_PSX_HW, Libretro PCSX-Rearmed, Libretro Mednafen_PSX and Libretro Swanstation) but all these Emulators gave me choppy Video and Audio.
      Only the "Duckstation"-Emultor works fine on my PC.

      By the way:
      I know that Playstation 1 Games are in the 4/3 Ratio, but I don't want some Black Bars left and right on the Screen of my PC, and all the other Emulators mentioned above gave me the chance to "eliminate" them.

      @zing
      Ok, fixed the Problem.
      Put the Bios named "scph1001.bin" in the "Bios"-Folder.
      In the "Main-Menu" I go to "Bios Checking", Select the Bios and press the "Start"-Button on my Gamepad.
      Recalbox checks the Bios and says it's OK now.

    • Recalbox 8 on Asus Eee PC - Question 4

      Recalbox 8 tells me I need a "SCPH1001.bin" Rom for the Sony Playstation Emulator.

      These Rom must have the MD5-Checksum of

      DC2B9BF8DA62EC93E868CFD29F0D067D

      or

      924E392ED05558FFDB115408C263DCCF

      I've got the a few Roms from different Sources with both of the right MD5-Checksums but Recalbox 8 didn't recognize all of them and tells me the Rom is missing.

      I tried everything, even rename the Rom from "SCPH1001.bin" to "scph1001.bin" but nothing works.

      So tell me, why isn't Recalbox axecpting these Rom and telling me it's not there even if it had the correct MD5-Cecksum.

      And yes. before somebody asks:
      The Rom is placed in the right folder -> recalbox\share\bios

    • Recalbox 8 on Asus Eee PC - Another Question

      Why is it not possible to delete the "preinstalled" Games ?
      It is only possible to "Hide" them
      Main Menu -> Game Settings" -> Hide Preinstalled Games

      I don' t want this Games and they only took up Space on my SDHC-Card.

    • RE: Remove startup splash video

      Here
      https://wiki.recalbox.com/en/basic-usage/features/boot-videos
      is described how you can add new Videos, which Video will be played and set the Playback Time.
      It is not described how you can turn the Video completely off.

      I think I found a solution for the problem:
      You must edit your "recalbox.conf" File
      Go to A - System Options -> ## Splash screen duration
      and set system.splash.length=1
